The next week passed quickly, and Parvati started to feel weird physically. She ignored the feeling though because she had too much on her mind, and tried to think of a way to tell Anshuman that applying for jobs was no good. She didn't know how he would deal with the blow that he was blacklisted, but she knew that she would be there for him.

She had to be.

One night, Parvati finally confessed everything to him.

"Anshuman, the reason nobody is calling you is - is because you're blacklisted," she sobbed and hugged him tightly on the bed. "I - I can't help it Anshuman. I - it hurts. It - it's all my fault."

"What?" Anshuman gasped.

"R - Raghuvir blacklisted you so nobody can hire you. P - Prashant told me. A - And h - he can't hire you either," Parvati cried. "I - I went to Raghuvir after I f - found out, a - and he told me to sleep with him o - or he will keep you on the blacklist."

Anshuman let go out of her angrily.

"Did you?" he asked her darkly.

"N - no! Of course not!" Parvati sobbed, and hugged him again. "I can only be yours."

Anshuman held her to him again and caressed her hair.

"Don't ever do something like that," he warned.

"I - I won't," she cried. "B - but Anshuman... y - your job?"

"Don't worry. I'll do something," he told her softly.

"What can you do?" she asked, sobbing. "Nobody will hire you."

He kissed her forehead.

"My lovely wife is working right? She can manage for us until I get another job," Anshuman told her.

"I... I can't... I don't know what to do... Anshuman... let's leave everything. Let's start something of our own," she told him, sounding serious. "I - I have some money. We can invest it and we can start our own company."

"It's not that easy Parvati," Anshuman murmured. "We'll need a lot more money than what we have now."

"I - I'll do something. I can't see you like this," she whispered and hugged him. "I just can't."

"It's okay," he said to her, and kissed her on the cheek. "Just relax."

Although he was comforting her outside, on the inside, he had really given up hope.

He felt like a failure.

He couldn't even take care of his wife.
