After they relaxed for about an hour, the two of them got up and got dressed again, to go back out and explore the city. Parvati still couldn't believe that everything was going this way. She couldn't believe that Anshuman was accepting her. She couldn't believe that he had given her his body and his mind... now all that was left was to give her his heart.

They explored Venice until the evening, when they went into a bookstore. Parvati wanted to check out the books, and Anshuman followed her in, holding her hand.

Parvati was looking through the shelves, when she picked up a poetry book and looked at it randomly. It stood out. There was no author name. There was no title. Curious, Parvati opened the book and read what was there. There was a single page with a prose on it that read:

"Love can change an evil heart to a good one

Love doesn't leave us once it gets us

For the love that leaves can be found in another

When you find love again, hold on tight

Never let it go

You've lost once, can you lose again?"

Parvati turned the page to see if there was anything that it said on the back.

"To the lover, who has loved through all, remember to keep going

It might get windy, the rocky shores might get flooded

But if you walk away and surrender to your feelings of resentment,

Then your story can be left incomplete

Like a chameleon changes its colours,

Feelings can be unstable, as the mind reigns over us,

Love can change too

From shades of light to dark

Just like an evil heart can transform into a good one,

Beware, for love can also change a good heart into an evil one"

"Wow," Parvati said, after she finished reading the verses. "This is deep."

Then she put the book back on the shelf and walked ahead without sparing it another glance.
