Chapter 110: The Straight Path to Heartbreak

Parvati was sitting in Prashant's cabin, drinking a cup of tea after she finished her work for the day. She was updating him about the company that she started.

"I'm very glad you're making progress," Prashant told her with a smile. "The money is being put to good use."

"Yes," Parvati said happily. "I'm working on the website. Once its foundations are ready, I'll give it completely to Anshuman to work on, and I'll continue to work for you. Anyways Prashant, I need to get going. I have some important work to take care of today."

She stood up and gave him a final smile. Then, she went down the stairs towards her car. As she was walking in the parking lot though, she felt dizzy, and fell forward. Just as she was about to fall on the ground though, a strong pair of arms grab hold of her... but they weren't her Anshuman's arms.

"Anshuman," she mumbled, just before she passed out.

A few hours later, Anshuman was at home, still staring at Parvati's picture and waiting for her to come home from work, when his phone started to ring.

"Hello?" he said, answering it.

"It's me, Raghu, your old boss. I want to meet you," Raghuvir said.

"Why?" Anshuman asked, sounding angry.

"Trust me, you will be happy you met me," Raghuvir said, sneering. "Come to Edwardian Hotel. I'll wait for you in the lobby."

Then he hung up the phone, causing Anshuman to look at the phone, stunned.

He got ready and he left the house to meet his ex-boss.
