When Parvati went to Anshuman's old office, she made her way directly to Raghuvir's cabin. This firm was supposed to be reputable.
"Reputable, please," she scoffed to herself, and stormed into the boss's cabin.
She slammed her hands on top of his desk and glared at him. Raghuvir looked up at her with an amused expression on his face, almost like he had been expecting her to barge in one day.
"Let me guess, this is about Anshuman," Raghuvir said.
"You -" Parvati started, glaring angrily at him.
"Shh honey, I know why you're here," Raghuvir said.
Parvati cringed when he used the word honey.
"I can take your husband off the blacklist," Raghuvir said, "But I'm sure you know what my condition is."
"I'm not sleeping with you!" Parvati screamed at him. "You had no right to blacklist him!"
"I will get what I want by hook or by crook," Raghuvir informed, and smirked at her. "If you want to make things easy, then willingly have sex with me. I'll take him off the blacklist, and he can get a new job... if you don't, then I'll still have sex with you, but he won't be removed from the blacklist."
Parvati wanted to smack him across his face.
"Just watch what happens to you," she threatened. "I will make sure you pay for every deed you have done."
"And I will make sure you pay," Raghuvir said with a smirk.
Parvati angrily just left the office and went home, before she broke down crying. Anshuman held her in his arms and stroked her hair.
"Parvati, what happened?" he asked her.
"Y - you -" she started, and was about to tell him he had been blacklisted, but she was afraid it would hurt his morale.
Instead she said, "I - I just missed you."
