The doctors all stared at each other and then back at Anshuman. Anshuman was trying to catch his breath, but it was hard, because he felt like he had the weight of a heavy stone on his heart.
"Please leave," one doctor told him. "We can't have you in here."
"B - but she's hemophilic," Anshuman said. "She can't play with her life... she can't donate her marrow!"
"We've already started the procedure. We can't stop now," another doctor informed.
"What? What do you mean?" Anshuman gasped.
He couldn't even see Parvati and Sandhya, because they were lying unconscious on their front side. One of the doctors approached Anshuman and pushed him out of the room.
"Please wait outside," the doctor told him.
"B - but Parvati can't die..." Anshuman told the doctor fearfully.
"We'll try our best. Please wait outside," the doctor repeated.
"Please save her doctor, please," Anshuman begged. "Please save Parvati."
He was able to mentally prepare for Sandhya's death, but Parvati going without warning... that was something he couldn't prepare for. It would be too sudden.
Tears invaded Anshuman's eyes.
"Please," he whispered again.
The doctor went back inside the room and Anshuman fell to his knees.
"Please save her," Anshuman begged to nobody in particular, closing his eyes, feeling a horrible ache in his chest. "Please save Parvati."
