Elijah had been driving for a straight 4 hours, he couldn't stop, he wouldn't stop. Not unless he saw anything belonging to Marianne at the side of the road. He'd keep going until he gets a phone call, or if she's there.

His hands firmly pressed against the wheel as he turned left and carried on. He was completely blind, no idea where he was going. For all Elijah knew, Marianne could be going the opposite way of what he was. But right now he had to follow his instincts, and the most common bus route out of Louisiana.

"Freya" he answered the phone whilst driving "anything?" He asked out of hopes that his sister had called to direct him somewhere, somewhere in Mariannes direction. The poor girl must've been scared out of her mind, thunder had begun to rumble in the sky, indicating the beginning of yet another storm.

"I'm afraid not" she said, crushing his momentary feeling of hope "I can't seem to find anything"

"Ask Rebekah for the ingredients she kept in her room" Elijah had a small idea "figure out how to do a spell and see if you can reverse it; try anything you can"

"Okay, Elijah, I'll try my best" Freya nodded over the phone, exhausted from the constant power she had to use in order to get nothing.

Elijah hung the phone up and continued driving. Somehow he felt the sudden urge to pull over behind the bus that had only just pulled over, allowing a few people out.

Elijah halted and ran out of the car, looking through the crowds and through the windows to see anything. But no.

"You are a few stops to late" an elderly woman walked up to him, analysing the worried expression on his face, it was filled with hope and disappointment. "She's gone"

Elijah furrowed his eyebrows as he looked down at the woman. She had silvery hair that was stuck in a perm and she held onto a large bag. "who?" He asked, feeling stupid in doing so but he needed to be sure.

"The blonde haired lady, the one on the run" the woman described "you're looking for her"

Elijah could have sworn the lady said Marianne was blonde, but then again it could be his hearing or her eyesight. "Yes, yes I am looking for her, desperately"

"Are you in love with her?" She pried, raising her eyebrows and peering over her glasses. She as only trying to figure out which of the two the man in the suit was, in case he was the one that she was running from. Was he good or bad?

Elijah stopped and looked at the woman; she did like to but into other people's business. But she was the first lead to finding her that he had come across and he wasn't going to let her go without any information.

"Of course I'm in love with her" he admitted. Gosh, why did everybody want to know if Elijah was in love with her.

"I sat behind her on the bus; she seemed scared and very out of her own bounds" the woman explained "she got off at the Branston street stop about half an hour ago"

"Why're you telling me this?" Elijah asked, wanting to know why and wanting to just run and go back quickly.

"She seems a nice girl" the woman said "I am a very good judge of character you know" she pulled a small leather bound book from her bag and then put it back in, indicating to him that she was in fact a witch "sometimes we have to look after our own. And right now, you are what she needs"

Elijah smiled "thank you so much" he said before running back to his car and starting the ignition. He immediately made a u turn and started driving from where he came. Elijah remembered the Branston street bus stop; it was in a dull town, somewhere that she definitely would not stop. But it did make sense, nobody would find her there.

Elijah thought of a million questions as he drove back. He just wanted to ask the woman more and more things; when did she get off? What direction did she go in? What did she say to you?

And he went through the conversation over and over again in his mind. "She needs me" he repeated the woman's words, and Marianne really did need him, though she was too proud to admit and she definitely would be too proud to come back and explain everything to them. The only way that she will come back home was if Elijah found her and forced her back.

It was what he intended to do. They were a team, a union they would face it together. He would never have let her go it alone, but it showed how caring she was towards his family. They were now all safe at the cost of Marianne's life.

Elijah convinced himself he'd find her. He'd find her first and he'd find her alive.
