"Okay these people are grounded, and you can't in any circumstances talk to them." Kristina ordered. She paced back and forth pointing at Xander, Gaby, and Kalani.
"What if there's an attack, and we don't know where they are?" Katia asked. She was just trying to be informed on these circumstances, so she won't accidentally get herself grounded.
"They'll be fine. Any other questions?" Kristina moved on.
"Yes, uh.....I'm sorry to interrupt Fair- Kristina, but what if they're dying or someone's dying and they wished to speak with them?" Romeo asked.
"Exceptions can be made. And why do you keep calling me Fair lady? I know I'm not very pretty to look at, so get over yourself." Kristina barked. She was still mad at Romeo even though she loved his personality.
"It just- never mind." Romeo sighed defeatedly. A faint blush of embarrassment covered his cheeks. He stared at his shoes silently getting mad at himself.
"Okay then. Katia and Elizabeth you get that room. Jax and Romeo you get that room. Gaby you get the basement. Kalani you'll sleep in the room Camille died in. Xander you're sleeping on the floor of the room I'm staying in, because there is no more space." Kristina ordered. She wasn't really going to stay in her room. She was going to stay up and plan what they were going to do.
Everyone muttered an "okay" and left to there rooms. The had already eaten from their packs. They found that three guest bedrooms were on the side wall of the store. Kristina planed to let Kalani have Camille's master bedroom with Gaby, but they got themselves grounded. She decided she would sleep in the room instead.
"Uh, were do we sleep?" Devin asked with Nathan by his side.
Kristina gasped. She and forgotten about them.
"You guys can sleep in the basement with Gaby. Just don't talk to her, please." Kristina told them distractedly.
"Okay." Nathan muttered. He went as Devin hung back. He tapped Kristina on the shoulder just about when she was turning around.
"Kristina, uh....you know I don't like you right?" Devin asked.
Kristina felt heat rise to her face. A lot of people has suspected her and Devin liked each other in seventh grade, but then he moved and it died down. She really didn't like him like that. Nonetheless, she was offended that he said it so rudely.
"Well, I personally don't enjoy you either you know. I'm fact, at the moment I hate you." Kristina spat out.
"Oh well, everyone but Nathan does....so I'll just be going." Devin said glumly and turned around to leave.
Kristina grabbed his shoulder and turned him around. She grabbed his forearm, took a deep breath, and braced herself.
"Devin, look I don't hate you. No one does. We all just have different ways of showing it." Kristina told him. Devin didn't look convinced or happy, so Kristina took drastic measures. She couldn't make everyone's day, but she could try one person at a time.
"Look I used to liked you in seventh grade. I should know how everyone feels about you." Kristina lied. She tended to do that a lot.
"Thanks Kristina." Devin said and smiled. He went down to join Nathan.
"You did? Because then I could never like you. Your sense of taste is definitely off by a lot." A voice said.
Kristina felt her face heat up quickly. She yelped. She turned around to see Xander sitting on the couch with a smile on his face.
"Okay, I lied. Leave me alone. Its not like he has much happiness in his life! Don't tell anyone, please?" Kristina pleaded.
"If you do one thing, then yes." Xander decided. He looked up contently at Kristina.
"What is it?" Kristina asked. She placed her hand on her hip. She expected him to say to unground him.
"Beg." He said simply. He laughed as if the prospect of it was even ridiculous to him. Xander knew Kristina was used to people looking up to her. Now she could feel what it was like.
Kristina tried to remember the last time she begged someone. She remembered when she was two and asked her father for a loan. She begged for the loan because she really needed it. Not for herself, but to pay off her older brothers bet in secret. After a long time, her dad gave her the money even though he knew he would get it back.
"Fine." Kristina said. She got on her knees and looked up at Xander. She had read a manga and laughed when this happened now she wasn't laughing.
"Oh, the wonderful handsome forever adored Xander. I'm so unworthy, but could you please keep the knowledge you posses to yourself?" Kristina pleaded. Most of it sounded sarcastic, but she had tried her best to get all of the words out.
"Wait, what did you call me?" Xander asked.
Kristina rolled her eyes. Her knees were beginning to ache and she just wanted to get up already.
"Wonderful." Kristina stated again. Xander shook his head. Kristina tried again.
"Adoring?" Kristina asked. Xander shook his head again. Kristina sighed, because she now what word he meant.
"Handsome." Kristina prepares to get up and put her hands on Xander's knees as Gaby walked in.
"OMG! I SHIP IT! But for real guys get a room." Gaby yelled out.
Kristina rolled backwards. Her face felt like it was on fire, but Xander stayed calm.
"Your information is safe." Xander said. He got up and went to Camille's room.
"Don't tell anyone." Kristina sighed and sat on the couch.
"Yep." Gaby walked out and sang YMCA as she went back downstairs.
Kristina heard Gaby telling Devin and Nathan what she saw. She made them promise not to tell anyone. Kristina chuckled.
