"Kristina? Kristina?!" Someone whispered sharpy at Ethan's ear. Ethan woke up. He sighed in annoyance. He couldn't believe someone in their group would mistake him for Kristina.
"Kristina, Sis wake the hell up!" A masculine voice whispered harshly. Ethan assumed the voice was Kayden and turned around.
"What?!" Ethan snapped. He looked up at the bright green eyes. He didn't think anyone in the group had green eyes.
"Oh shit, don't scream. Please. You don't know who I am, I don't know who you are. We don't have to be enemies." Ash whispered quickly.
Ethan quickly debated with himself. He figured Kristina was listening in, since she was a light sleeper after all. He decided it was safe enough to submit to whoever this guy was.
"Okay, I won't scream." Little did the guy know whispering was screaming for Kristina's ears. He called Kristina his 'sis'. Does that mean Kristina had two brothers? Wow her history is complicated.
Kristina jumped up, and brought her fist down on the guy's back. His feet slipped out from under him, and he fell face first on the ground. Kristina positioned herself above him, and she whispered in his ear.
"What are you doing here Ash? Don't you have an army to take care of?" Kristina grinned maliciously.
"You know I know what the cure is too. We shared a damn childhood." Ash whispered back.
"Get out of here, or I will....I'll kill you. Right now." Kristina came up with. It wasn't her best work, but the first thing that came to her mind was scream out rape, and that wasn't really believable.
"No, you would never do that." Ash smiled against the dirt.
"You know I was never one to be sentimental." Kristina gripped his arm hard. Ash flinched, but didn't move an inch.
"Neither were you one to be loving or loved." Ash tried to anger her. He knew her fighting style....kind of, and he knew how she always messed up. Her anger always got the best of her.
Kristina quickly slammed his head against the ground, but not long enough to give him an opening.
"Bitch please, I had more love than you. Where's Gaby?" Kristina said sweetly. She remembered Ethan was somewhere around here. She looked quickly, and he was spotted awkwardly staring at her.
"Hotel." Ash said quickly.
Kristina had half a mind to take Ethan to the hotel to sort his gay problems out, but with the task at hand she figured it was safer to just call Gaby later. She had always been the one with all her gay miracles and stories and such. "Ethan, wake up Romeo."
"Don't you dare, Dotson. You wouldn't betray your own flesh and blood." Ash panicked.
"Their must've been a switch up at the hospital then. I remember you claiming that I wasn't your sister at the sewer with Persephone. I was thrown out on a chair, Ash. Then you have the audacity to call yourself my brother. Wake up Kayden too, Ethan." Kristina blew a strand of hair out of her face.
"Okay." Ethan walked over to Kayden and shook him a little. He walked over to Romeo and tapped him twice. "They should be up soon." He reported.
"Ethan, what do you want at this-" Kayden's line of sight landed on Kristina. His eyes traveled downwards until it reached Ash's face.
"Hello, Brother. It's been a while since all the older children got together." Ash said smugly.
Kayden kicked Ash's face in anger and surprise.
"Shit!" Ash yelled out in pain waking everyone up. Ash's nose started to bleed a constant stream of dark red.
"Ash?" Jax woke up suddenly at Ash's voice. A flood of memories rushed in his mind. Finally, the memory where Ash left them and took Gaby was repeated.
Xander looked at his long lost friend. He remembered all the times back at the base. He saw his friend's face covered in dirt and blood and something inside him clicked. The click, he assumed, was telling him that he was doing something wrong.
"Kris, babe, stop. Kristina, I'm sorry, but just get off him, please." Xander approached her carefully.
"Babe? I am nobody's babe anymore. I do not care about what we used to have, if we had anything to begin with. That all stopped when you did whatever you did with Isabelle. Also I understand that he's your friend, but he's my brother! I am not getting off him until I have what I want!" Kristina screamed at him.
"And what is that, Kristina?" Jax asked her standing behind Xander.
Romeo moved to stand behind Kristina to balance it out. Katia and Kayden followed leaving Ethan, Kalani, Nathan, James, and Devin in the middle.
"I don't know, but when I have it I'll know. I haven't stirred this team wrong, so shut up." Kristina defended herself. Ethan and Kalani moved to her side. Five people stood behind Kristina.
Nathan and Devin walked dutifully behind Jax and Xander leaving it uneven by one.
James stood silently in the middle. He didn't understand they were having a silent vote, so he stood awkwardly not knowing what to do. He decided to go with the side that had the most people. He figured less people would hate him, and more people would like him...somewhat.
"Ash, where's Krystal?" Kristina asked briefly. "And how did you get Kayden to hate you?"
"Remember when I had a bandage across my chest during one of the wars? Well the son of a b-" Ash tried to explain.
"Beautiful mother." Kristina interrupted.
"Right. Well he had cut me across with his katanas, but not that deep. I had told him where he had came from, sent zombies after him when he left, but he finally found you guys and I couldn't waste all my arsenal." Ash explained. He wiped his nose carefully and flinched.
"Krystal?" Kristina asked again. The group looked at her confusingly except for Katia.
"I lost track of her. I talked to her, but she didn't agree what I was doing, so I sent her away freely. She has a circle of protection around her." Ash answered ignoring all the confused faces.
"I'm satisfied." Kristina told Xander and backed off slowly and then all at once.
Ash sprung up, leaving a pool of blood on the ground. He dripped red wherever he went.
"Why are you here, Ash?" Romeo stepped up.
"To offer a temporary truce. I know the actual cure." Ash gazed at Kalani accusingly. He knew Kayden was the actual cure, and the group had wasted a lot of time.
"Terms?" Kayden asked.
Kristina remembered that in order to know the full deal you had to ask for the truce, or you could be ripped off, fairly. They all considered it to be lawful and fair when they were all small. Kristina wondered how Kayden would've remembered that. Maybe some of his memories were coming back.
"No terms, Kayden. I simply will not have any of my army attack you as long as you don't attack it. For say three days. Starting tomorrow." Ash looked at Romeo assuming he was the leader now. It was a little hard to believe considering Kristina's characteristics and Romeo's impartial nature.
"I agree to your terms." Romeo agreed. They could use the three days. The needed to catch up on sleep, move their camp, and get the cure. Of course not all of this could be done in three days.
"Okay then, I will leave peacefully from this place. The treaty starts today, but the countdown will start tomorrow." Ash clarified before starting to take off.
"So basically four days." Kristina corrected him.
"Basically." Ash continued to walk off until no one could see him.
"Today will be a free day. Everyone pretend you live normal lives, and all of you get out of my hair, try not to die, try to have fun, Dotson, and don't go too far." Romeo ordered. He moved to his pack to get a piece of string and a piece of metal.
