Kristina's P.O.V-
Okay, I got what I wished for, but not exactly what I hoped for. It's not like I'm not used to it. Its like the universe literally accepts all responsibility to fuck up my life. At least I'm not in charge anymore.
Kristina waited for Romeo and the rest to emerge from the forest. She knew a neighborhood was close by, but she would leave that to Romeo. Kristina chuckled. She almost wished she'd given leadership to Katia. She wanted it so bad, but she didn't know how hard it was.
"Well universe, no matter how hard you try you can't fuck me over!" I shouted at the sky, regretting it instantly wondering if any Zs were around.
"What if I was the universe?" A voice asked in the distance.
I spun around, and picked up a pointed stick. Not much of a weapon, but I can grab another weapon from backpack my once I use this as a distraction. My mind began to race filling with escape plans as my eyes flicked here and there at any sign of movement.
"No need to be frightened. Its really fine. Put down the stick, and I'll come out." The voice said.
"Yeah, I'll just trust a random stranger that talks to me when Zs can talk as well." I know where the voice is now. It sounds like a boy, but it isn't familiar. At least I can cross out Jax messing with me. I turn the other way, so the boy or whatever won't find out I know where he is.
"What if I can tell you where Ash is?" The voice asked.
How does he even know who Ash is? Knowing Ash, he probably already has bill board signs saying 'Oh, look. I'm prince of the whole fucking Z population. Wohoo!', so I guess its not much of a surprise.
"Okay, then." I throw the pointed stick casually, but with force, over my shoulder. I hear a thunk, and spin around. I hope he's not dead....yet. I take a flashlight out, and immediately spot him. He looks a lot like Ash from afar, and he appears to be knocked out. Shit, come on universe couldn't you have like let him stay awake long enough to tell me where Ash is?
I run up to him and see that instead of his eyes being forest green like Ash's they're cornflower blue. Hm...pretty. I pick up his head, and put it in my lap. I don't see any bleeding. Oh, wait.....
"Kristina, what are you doing!?" Romeo screams from behind me. Quickly I flick my flashlight off.

Romeo's P.O.V-
I led my team out of the forest. After, being attacked by swarms of mosquitoes about a million times, Nathan complaining his feet hurt, and Katia constantly advising me that we went the wrong way, while Jax keeps teasing me. Finally, I had it.
"To whoever talks next, I will personally ask Kristina to feed you to a zombie!" I shout. Everyone stayed silent...for a while. We were emerging out of the forest finally when Xander pointed out a light in the distance. We rushed to it, and I stopped dead in my tracks.
I glanced around. I saw Kristina worryingly inspecting a boy who had his head in her lap. Her flashlight shone light around her. A pointed thick stick lay a little away from the boy. Spotted here and there with blood.
"Kristina what are you doing?!" I yell. With a flick of her hand she turned off the flashlight. Plummeting the world around us in darkness.
"Its nothing. I accidentally knocked this guy out." Kristina said. She flicked back on the flashlight. She was standing in front of the boy as if protecting him from us. The pointed stick that had been spotted with blood was wrapped in cloth in her hand. Her flashlight dangling in the other.
"Yeah, like I "accidentally" knocked Kalani out." Jax said sarcastically.
"I command you to show us to a neighborhood." I said although my voice sounded uncertain. I couldn't read Kristina, but then again I couldn't do it before either.
"I need you to carry him," Kristina pointed to Jax,"and I need you to carry my things." Kristina pointed at Xander. "Oh, and I need you to not make a sarcastic comment." Kristina pointed at Kalani. Kalani scowled and was about to say something, but Jax cut her off.
"What makes you so sure we will do these things?" Jax asked menacingly.
"Well, you need shelter. My shoulders hurt from carrying my stuff, this boy will get eaten if we don't help him, and I can't deal with Kalani right now." Kristina replied. Katia sighed. This was not going to go well. Kristina dropped her bags into Xander's arms, as Jax stared at Romeo.
"Hey, I don't know about you, but I'm tired. Get you ass over there and pick the boy up." Romeo finally said.
Kristina laughed and fell into step beside Katia and Elizabeth. She led the way towards the neighborhood.
