Kristina sat in a tree, bound by rope, awaiting her trail, and guarded by Xander. She had broken down a few times and cried. She couldn't cover her face, because her hands didn't reach that far, so Xander sat there awkwardly wanting to comfort Kristina, but she was a prisoner. Also, Jax said he couldn't fall for her, because she was the bad girl. Whatever that meant he wasn't sure.
They had run away during the battle. There was to many Zs and they couldn't fight them. They fled, and misled the Zs. Luckily, their plan worked and they were free.
Down below Katia, Elizabeth, Jax, Devin, Nathan, and Romeo discussed Kristina.
"I'm sorry for interrupting, but shouldn't we bring her down here to argue on her behalf?" Romeo asked.
They had been discussing for a while ways to make Kristina talk, where to put Kristina, if they should let her roam free, and if they should just kill her or punish her. The last one had been brought up by Jax. He was convinced that she could turn against them.
"Well does anyone stand for her, and support her?!" Katia called loud enough for Xander to hear up in the tree.
"Nope." Jax said. He was really straightforward. If Kristina had lied he simply couldn't trust her anymore until she earned it back.
Elizabeth stayed indecisive. She didn't know if she could trust her own friend, and she was sure that wasn't a good sign. She bit her lip.
"I can't." Elizabeth concluded.
Katia just shook her head. She loved Kristina, but if she had information to end this apocalypse and didn't share it. Well...that just crossed the line. Nathan and Devin muttered agreements with Elizabeth.
The three looked at Romeo and Xander. Xander just looked down like he was considering jumping down to his death. Romeo just looked thoughtful, and squared his shoulders.
"I'll vouch." Romeo gave a sigh. He figured if he made up with Kristina he would be in a better shape.
"Okay, what can you say in her favor? That'll grant her a trial." Katia said. She wasn't sure how this vouching stuff went, so she went off of what she read in books.
"Well she's lead us this far. She always saves us from ourselves. She's been a great leader. Maybe, she has a reason. Maybe, Gaby was lying. Maybe, Ash and her had a feud and now he holds a grudge. I mean we didn't give our own leader a chance to explain herself." Romeo was a rebel, which meant he needed to know how to lie to survive. He was great at it. He felt victorious that he swayed them.
"Okay, she's granted trial!' Katia yelled out and rapped her hand on a nearby tree like a judge with a gavel.
Kristina rolled her eyes. She hated telling people her problems, and explaining to them about her life. That was why she didn't talk about it much. Xander reached over to cut the rope, but Kristina slipped her hands out like nothing was holding her at all. She scrambled down, and jumped off. She stretched and strode towards Katia. She stood in front of the short girl she thought was her friend, but if she couldn't vouch for her how could she be? Kristina grimaced. She looked at Katia up and down, and than backed away.
"If you want to know the truth. I demand no interruptions, crying, distractions, or noises." Kristina said bluntly.
"You are not in charge-" Katia started.
"Actually I am. I'm the one with the knowledge, so I'm in the position of power. It how the world works, sweetheart." Kristina said placidly.
"Hey,-" Jax started. He didn't like the new Kristina. She was like Kalani times a thousand. Jax glanced at Kalani, passed out laying on the cold ground.
Kristina held up her hand."Woah, I said no interruptions."
Romeo was starting to regret he vouched for Kristina. Although, he knew if he hadn't Xander would've. That's just how they worked. Xander jumped down next to Kristina.
"Okay, this is the tale you have been waiting for." Kristina said like an announcer. She rubbed her hand together. She sat down on the stump Katia was sitting at.
"But first, does anyone have water. You took away my stuff, and I'm hungry. Plus, its a rather long tale."
The group sighed. This was going to take a long time.

-*I know this was a short chapter, but like Kristina said it is a rather long tale. I'm planning on posting it on a different part.*-
