Chapter 12 - Cameron?

Shawn's P.O.V.

-2 hours later-

We're now in the hospital, waiting for the doctor about Lily's condition.

I paced back and forth in the hallways, biting my nails.

"Shawn, Lily will be fine. Stop worrying. Her mother is gone now. She won't hurt Lily anymore." Nash said who was seated with the boys.

"I know, man. I just.. I can't stop worrying. I hope she's okay."

"Stay positive, Shawn. Lily is a strong girl. We all know that. She'll be alright." Aaron said.

I sighed. I should listen to the boys. I know lily is strong enough to handle this. I just know it.

Soon, the doctor walked up to us making the boys stand to their feet.

"Are you boys Lily Watson's friends?"

"Yes, we are. How's Lily?" Nash asked.

"Well, ms. Watson lost a lot of blood from the cut on her arm, but we managed to take care of it. We stitched her cuts and cleaned up her wounds. She's doing okay now. All she needs is to rest." The doctor said.

I let out a sigh of relief.

"Can we see her now?" Aaron asked.

"Yes. She's in room 198."

"Okay. Thank you, doctor." Cameron said before the doctor smiled and left.

"Thank God!" I said.

"I told you." Taylor smiled, patting my back.

I smiled and somehow, the heavy feeling that I was carrying was lifted up.

"Let's go." Carter said then we all went to the room number the doctor told us.

I slowly opened the door and we all entered the room quietly.

I saw Lily on the bed, sound asleep.

She's so beautiful. She wasn't so pale anymore. She gained her natural color again.

"We'll leave you here for a bit." Taylor said.

Taylor knew I had feelings for Lily. But I don't even know if he knows that Cameron has a thing for Lily too.

"Okay." I said as they exited the room.

I took a chair and sat beside Lily's bed, holding her hand in mine.

"Hey Lils." I softly said, making little circles on her palms.

"I know you can't hear me. But.. I just wanted to say how happy I am that you're safe." I continued.

"Because, I wouldn't even forgive myself if something bad happened to you. Because-" I trailed off, taking a deep breath.

"Because I love you, Lily."

"And it's not just some kind of best friend love. I love you for real. I'm in love with you. From the moment I first saw you when we were little, until now. I fell so hard, that it came to the point that I don't even know if I could get up anymore."

"How I wish you'd feel the same way. If everything could be that easy. But I know you don't. I wish I had the courage to tell you. But I'm such a dork." I laughed.

"When you wake up, everything will go back to where it was before. But without your mom. No one will hurt you anymore, Lily. I'll always be by your side..." i paused a little and held her hand with both of my hands. "I love you, Lily."

I just stared at her, even if she looked so tired, she's still breath taking.

"Shawn." I heard someone's voice behind me.

I turned around and stood up.

"Cameron?"
