Chapter 14 - Welcome home!

Lily's P.O.V.

"We're hereeee!" Taylor exclaimed opening the front door of the house.

"Welcome home, Lils!" Shawn said smiling widely, showing me his perfect teeth.

"Are you tired?" Matt asked.

"Nah." I shrugged. "I'm just really, really, hungry."

"Now you mentioned it, my stomach's growling a bit too." Nash laughed, holding his tummy.

"Oh, then I'll cook food for you guys-"

"No Lily! You just got out of the hospital. You need to rest." Carter said.

"Yeah. Let us, boys, do the cooking for you." Cameron added.

"Awww, thanks guys." I cooed.

They all went into the kitchen and got busy. I decided to go to my room and take a shower.

I wore a pair of pajamas and a cookie monster t-shirt before going back downstairs.

"Wow! This is really amazing." I said with a mouthful of lasagna the boys made.

I never knew they know how to make lasagna!

"Glad you liked it." Taylor smiled.

"God, this is heaven! Make my food everyday will you?"

"Hey don't talk when your mouth is full!" Matt said.

I laughed before swallowing the food in my mouth. "Sorry."

I checked the time on my phone.

10:12 pm.

It's already late. I'm actually getting kinda sleepy.

I quickly finished my food then placed the plate on the sink.

"I think I'm gonna head to bed now, guys. I'm getting pretty sleepy." I said.

"Oh okay. Sleep well, Lily." Taylor said then gave me a hug.

They all greeted me 'goodnight' and gave me bear hugs before I went upstairs to my room.

I brushed my teeth and went to bed when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I called out.

I saw Shawn peek his head in then gave me a goofy smile.

"Why hello there," I laughed.

"Are you going to bed already?" He asked entering the room.

"Yeah. I'm really tired."

He walked up to me and hugged me tight burying his head in the crook of my neck. I was a bit surprised but overwhelmed at the same time.

"Shawn?"

"I thought I lost you, Lily. I'm so glad you're safe and sound." He mumbled.

"Don't worry, Shawn. I'll never leave your side, ever. I promise." I smiled hugging him tighter.
