Chapter 39 - CANON BAAALLLL!

Lily's P.O.V.

We decided to sleep in the rest of the day since we were jet lagged from the trip.

The next day, we all had nothing to do, since it was just our first day in Toronto. Pretty great actually, that we're staying here for a long time. I wanted to visit Karen and Manny, which I also call 'mom and dad', and of course Aaliyah. It's been quite long since I saw them. Plus, Shawn's birthday is coming up.

"I wanna go swimming." I said, since I saw a big swimming pool at our window.

"Now?" Nash asked.

"Yeah, why not?" I said.

"Let's!" Taylor said.

We all went to the ground floor then to the outdoor swimming pool. There were people at the pool as well, but it wasn't that crowded.

The boys were already shirtless and in their swim trunks then they charged into the pool. Leaving me and Shawn by the chairs.

I took off my robe-like thingy revealing my black bikini, but I kept a pair of black tight shorts on since Shawn doesn't like it when I wear a full bikini. He thinks my body is too exposed for those. So I only wore the bikini on top.

Shawn took off his shirt, leaving him in his swim trunks as well. I looked at his body. Dang those abs.

Shawn looked at me then smirked, "your stare's melting me."

I snapped out of my stare then looked away blushing. I didn't realize I was staring too long. He chuckled.

I sat on a chair, while Shawn was placing our towels on a table beside us.

"CANON BAAALLLL!!" Cameron yelled then jumped from the plank which made a huge wave in the pool. I watched them as they continued playing like they were five year olds.

"Are they your friends?" A kid which I think was about seven, asked.

"Yes, why?" I said.

"They're so noisy. They're more childish than me." He said.

"Yeah, they are," I laughed.

"But they're the best guys you'll ever meet in the world." I smiled.

He looked at them then looked back again at me.

"Who's the guy you're with?" He asked.

"You mean Shawn?" I said.

"Yeah, whatever his name is." He said.

"He's my boyfriend." I smiled.

"Aw, dang it." He said frowning.

"Why?" I laughed.

"You already have a boyfriend? I was gonna ask you out on a date." He said. I laughed.

"Date?" I said.

"Yes." He said.

"But, why?" I asked.

"I don't know, because you're pretty." He said.

"Aww," I cooed, he was so cute!

"Well sorry bud, she can't." Shawn said who just came back with some cold lemonade.

"I know," he said. "But your girlfriend's really pretty."

Shawn smiled, "I know."

"Oh well, I'll go now! Bye!" The kid said then ran off to his parents.

"See? Even kids fall in love with you." Shawn smirked, handing me the cold beverage. I playfully hit his arm.

"Wanna swim?" He said.

"Sure." I smiled, then we joined the boys in the pool.
