Chapter 64 - Date plans

Lily's P.O.V.

"What?" Shawn laughed as he sat on bed beside me.

"I spent an hour in detention because of you, idiot." I chuckled.

"I don't know what's funnier. The fact that I got you in detention or the fact that you decided not to ditch." He laughed.

"I'm a good and responsible person, thank you very much." I said placing my hand on my chest dramatically. He laughed kissing my nose.

As he laid his head on my lap, I can't help but think of those threats from Alice.

I shouldn't even be scared of her. She's mean and she has very high self esteem.

"Babe?" Shawn said.

"Hmm?"

"Are you okay?"

"Oh umm, yeah, of course." I said clearing my throat.

"Is it about the detention?" He asked sitting up, worried.

I didn't want to tell him about Alice yet. Alice is just a wall that might stand between me and Shawn. But I'm not gonna let that happen.

"Yeah, I think so," I laughed. Lies.

"Aw baby, I'm sorry I got you in detention. Let me make it up to you, okay?" He said. I smiled nodding in the process.

He then kissed me softly, as he placed his hands on my waists. We broke apart as we cuddled close to each other.

I love him too much to let Alice have him. Not on my watch.

I skipped downstairs as I saw the boys all scattered in the living room, either playing video games or playing with their phones.

I walked towards them plopping my whole body on Shawn, Taylor and Nash's body on the couch. I placed my head on Shawn's lap, my back on Taylor's and my legs on Nash.

"Oh my God, Lily." Taylor said .

"Sorry. There's no space for me," I simply said.

"You made us like cushions," Nash said.

"Meh, I know you guys love me," I said. Nash playfully rolled his eyes.

"I know I do," Shawn cheekily said before planting a soft kiss on my forehead.

"EWWW!" they all yelled.

"Oh come on." I rolled my eyes.

"Please stop making us feel like we don't have love lives because we clearly know that we don't," Matt said.

"For now man," Shawn laughed.

"Well all of us are single except for the two of you!" Aaron said pointing to Cameron who was smiling at his phone weirdly.

"Two of us, eh?" Shawn smirked.

"What?" Cameron said lifting his head up from his phone.

"Get it boys," Taylor said before they placed me on the couch carefully before charging at Cameron.

I forgot I was on top of them the whole time.

"HEY PAWS OFF YOU BASTARDS-" Cameron yelled but before I know it, they were holding Cameron while Taylor took his phone reading the text messages.

"Ooooh! So you like Kaylee huh?" Taylor said.

"YOU IDIOT!" Cameron said trying to break free from the boys' grasp making them all laugh.

Then Taylor read the text messages of both Kaylee and Cameron's twisting his voice up, to sound like Cameron and Kaylee.

Cameron blushed like crazy as the boys let go, Taylor gave his phone back.

"So you're into Kaylee huh?" Shawn smirked.

Cameron only blushed, as we made those 'oooh' sounds.

"Does Kaylee know?" Matt asked.

"Hell yeah she does," I smirked.

"Oh so you know something about the two of them?" Shawn said.

"Do you think Kaylee could keep it from me and Connor?" I laughed.

Cameron chuckled. "Actually, I asked her out on prom night," he said.

"And what did she say?" Carter asked.

"She said yes." Cameron smiled.

Soon the boys cheered, high fiving Cameron as if he won a basketball game. I laughed at their goofiness.

"So where are you planning to take her on your first date?" I asked.

"I've been thinking about that lately. But I'm still not sure on what destination to decide." He said.

"Oh, take her to see movies!" Aaron said.

"Nah, too boring." Cam said.

"How 'bout bowling?" Matt asked.

"Too common."

"Take her to a fancy restaurant?" Carter said.

"Too cheesy."

"Well what does she like?" Shawn asked.

"Kaylee is not much of a fancy girl. She likes simple things that she can get along with a guy. Things that there are no rules and stuff." I said.

"Practically me." Taylor shrugged.

"Yeah, I'm surprised you're not related to each other." I laughed.

"Well if you would ask me, I think she would love it if you took her in a place that is unusual yet unique for a date. See how fun can that be on your first date." Taylor suggested.

"That's a pretty good idea. But still I have to think where I should take her," Cameron said.

"See? I'm a genius!!" Taylor said. I laughed.

"For once you came up with a pretty good idea," Nash laughed.

"Excuse me?" Taylor said with a 'wtf face' which made us all laugh.

"Just please don't tell her anything about this. I want it to be a surprise for her." Cameron said.

"You got our words," Shawn winked.
