Chapter 46 - 'Got along'

Cameron's P.O.V.

It's been so weird since the two of the girls talked outside. They were being all nice to each other since then.

But I feel like Lauren's acting weirder. I think it's obvious that she's faking it too much.

I don't know if it's just me or do they notice it too?

"It's nice that they got along, eh?" Shawn said, walking up to me in the kitchen.

I peeked to the living room, seeing that Laur and Lily were watching a movie.

"Yeah," I said, but I was quite unsure of my answer.

Shawn went to the refrigerator, grabbing a bottle of water.

"Don't you feel weird that your girlfriend and your ex-girlfriend are in the same room as you?" I said.

He thinks about it for a minute, before he shrugged.

"At first it felt really weird," he said, "but then I saw that they finally got along so, I'm okay with it."

I nodded. But I wasn't that convinced that they were really getting along.

Especially Lauren.

Lily's P.O.V.

We laughed as we watched this movie called, 'fired up'.

I'm glad me and Lauren got along. It wouldn't be so nice if we acted like we hated each other from the start.

She started to be so sweet and nice to me so suddenly. It felt weird at first, but then it felt okay.

"Wanna go to the mall later?" Lauren said, switching her attention to me.

"Sure," I smiled.

She smiled before looking at the tv screen again.

Soon, the movie ended, showing the credits with some of the bloopers.

"Let's go?" Lauren said.

"Okay," I said then we both left the suite.

I texted Shawn telling him I was gonna be out with Lauren for a while.

Cameron's P.O.V.

Shawn was inside his room for a while. He said he was gonna take a long bath. So I decided to do something for a bit.

"Come on guys," I said as I walked to my room.

The boys were confused but followed me anyways.

"What's wrong?" Matt asked.

I didn't speak. Instead, I opened my laptop as I sat on bed. I immediately set up a video call with Connor and Kaylee.

Minutes later, they answered the video call.

"Hey, what's up?" Connor said looking at his camera.

"Yo," Kaylee said, adjusting hers.

We were now in a group video call.

"I ain't getting what's going on man." Taylor said.

I sighed. "I'm not feeling the 'bond' between Lauren and Lily." I said.

"Who the heck is Lauren?" Kaylee asked.

"Shawn's ex-girlfriend," Nash said.

''Wait, what?" Connor said.

"Why is Shawn's ex there?" Kaylee said.

"We don't even know why. She just suddenly pops up, invading Lily and Shawn's relationship." I said.

"Really?" Connor asked.

"Yeah, Laur was totally flirting with Shawn the whole time. That's why Lily got upset," Aaron said.

"But then, she suddenly became sweet to Lily. I think Lily bought it, that's why they instantly 'got along'," Matt said, gesturing quotation marks on his fingers.

"She better not mess anything up," Connor said.

"I sure hope so, I mean, they had a relationship too, you know." Carter said.

"And Shawn better not take her back. Imma slap the hell out of him if he does," Kaylee said.

To be honest, Kaylee was pretty much of a fighter than a daffodil. I can tell, for sure.

"Just keep an eye out for Lauren. We don't want Lily getting hurt," Connor said.

"We will," I said.

Hopefully, we will.
