Chapter 50 - Break-up?

yay 50 chapters you guys! But before anything else, i wanted to apologize for not updating that frequently like i used to, it's just that, there are some personal situations going on (like school and stuff) so I can't find the right time to update. But anyways, here's our 50th chapter! :) Enjoy!

Shawn's P.O.V.

Me and the boys all drove home for a good night's rest. I didn't want to go home just yet but the doctor would'nt even let us in. Maybe Lily needs an alone time for a while. As I looked at the car window, a tear escaped my eye.

I love Lily more than anything in this world.

And I can't afford to lose her. My life's nothing without her. I need her.

"We're here." Taylor said after parking in front of the hotel.

We all got down the car then made our way inside.

I saw Lauren still sleeping on the kitchen table. I walked up to her.

"Lauren. Get up." I harshly said.

Not a moment of seconds, she opened her eyes, clutching her head.

"Sh-shawn? Baby-" she said.

"Don't fucking call me that!" I yelled, she jumped a bit in fear.

"Shawn I-"

"See what you did?! My girlfriend is in the hospital! She got hit because she ran away! You know why? Because you fucking kissed me! She saw US!" I yelled.

"Dude, calm down." Aaron said placing his hand on my shoulder.

"NO!" I said, taking his hand off me.

"You know what Lauren, none of this would ever happen if you never came back! Can't you understand?! We broke up years ago! Don't expect me to return the same love and attention you're giving me right now because I already have a girlfriend! I love Lily. More than I loved you before." I said.

By now she was crying. Sobbing.

"Shawn I-I'm sorry.'' She whispered.

"Please leave." I said, "and never come back."

By that moment, she left the suite in tears.

"Bro, that's enough." Taylor said.

I just stood there, and did nothing but cry.

"It's okay man, Lily's gonna be okay." Matt said.

"You need to rest, Shawn. We'll go to the hospital first thing in the morning okay?" Cameron said. I nodded.

We all made our way to our rooms, the boys giving me a pat on the back before I went inside.

(The next morning: at the hospital)

"Ms. Watson is ready to see you now," the doctor quietly said to us as he pointed to the door with Lily's room number on it.

"Thank you, doctor." I said.

He nodded before walking away through the hallways.

I took a deep breath before gently turning the knob, opening it slightly, before letting us all in.

"Lily?" I said.

And there I saw her, sitting up on her bed, bruises and scratches on her arms, a few bruises on her forehead.

Thank God she doesn't have any fractures. But she does look bad.

"Shawn," she said, but there was realization and disappointment covering her voice.

"Lily, thank God you're oka-"

"What are you doing here," she blankly said looking away.

"We'll leave you two to talk," Nash said, then quietly left the room with the boys.

I sighed, then walked closer to Lily's bed.

"Lily.." I said, but I couldn't help but let tears fall on my cheeks.

"Lily, I'm sorry," I said, "L-Lauren kissed me, i-it was a misunderstanding, I-"

"You still love her." Lily said facing away from me, a tear escaped her eye.

"No. I don't. Please don't say that, I only love you-''

"Please don't lie. All my life I've been hurt. But I never thought you, the person I love the most, will hurt me." She cried. This broke my heart more.

"Lily I never wanted to hurt you, and you know that. I love you more than anything. Please believe me. Please." I pleaded as I held her hand in mine.

She just stared at the window beside her, looking away from my direction.

"Look at me," I said as I held her chin to face mine.

"I love you. Only you. And I always will." I said.

She sighed before putting my hands away from her.

"Shawn, I think it's best that we take a break. I need space." She said, holding her tears.

I stood there, frozen. "W-what? What are you talking about?''

She looked at me in eyes once more. This time, we were both in tears as she spoke,

"I think we should break up."

Okay so, I also forgot to tell you guys that, today is my 16th birthday! Yay lmao

So I am now officially sixteen, and it's kinda great knowing that I'm a year older now. Aha!
