Chapter 27 - Curiosity

Lily's P.O.V.

I slowly stood up from bed, trying my best not to wake Shawn up, as I walked downstairs. It was already midnight and I think the boys are all probably passed out by now. I made my way to the kitchen and got myself a glass of water. I was carrying my phone with me along here so I thought I'd open twitter again.

I scrolled down the notifications and saw tons of fans still not getting over with the picture that Shawn posted. Some are so curious, thinking I might be Shawn's girlfriend. Some think I'm just a relative to him and stuff like that. Some are even tweeting to me, asking if I am Shawn's girlfriend.

Of course I didn't answer any of them. I don't want any issues or drama. I'll just let Shawn decide whether he'll expose our relationship to his fans or not.

I sipped some water then placed my glass in the sink.

I headed upstairs and saw Shawn still sound asleep. I smiled. He's so adorable.

I cleaned up the mess we made as I pulled the sheets to him, kissing him goodnight. I don't feel sleepy yet, so I decided to head outside.

I got out of the house, it was pretty cold but I had one of Shawn's sweater on so, it's okay.

I sat on the front porch and looked up the sky. I like watching the night sky as I admire the stars above me.

I smiled, staring at the night sky. I just feel so happy and complete. I have the best of friends that anyone could ever ask for. I have an amazing boyfriend who loves me, for me. Through good and bad times. I feel so thankful for them. I know I may not be deserving to have them, but I'm still grateful because they're part of my life.

My smile faded a bit, as I looked down. How I wish dad was here. I wonder what my life could've been ended with him. Would I still even meet the boys? Would I still be with Shawn right now?

But nevertheless, everything is okay. The boys are like family to me. With or without my dad, I'm still happy.

I continued to watch the night sky, letting my thoughts smoothly leave my head.

"Lily?"

I jumped as I turned around.

"God Shawn, you scared me!" I said.

"Sorry." he said as he sat beside me. "Why are you still awake?"

"I should be asking you the same thing." I laughed.

"You first." he smiled.

"I can't sleep." I simply said, "you?"

"Neither can I." He said.

"But, I saw you sound asleep in my room before I got out."

"Yeah, well.. I can't sleep without you by my side." he said.

I smiled as I looked away, not wanting him to see my red cheeks.

"Dork." I laughed.

"Am not!" he laughed as well.

I breathed heavily, rubbing my hands on both my arms.

"Come here." he said opening his arms. I scooted closer to him as our bodies left no space between us. I placed my head on his chest as he rubs little circles on my back.

"Shawn?" I said.

"Hmm?"

"Are you going to let your fans know about us?" I asked.

He paused a bit, before he spoke.

"Of course." he said, "I'm sure if they're really my fans, they'll support me with anything. Especially with you."

I smiled.

"Let's go to bed?" he asked. I nodded.

"Okay."
