Chapter 29 - Official

Lily's P.O.V.

"What are you up to?" I said as I watched him log into twitter on his phone.

"Just wait." he smiled. I sat there, waiting for him to finish whatever he was doing.

"There." he said after a few seconds.

"What now?" I said.

"Check your phone." he said. I did what I was told.

Oh my God, he did not.

"@ShawnMendes: To all the fans out there who are wondering. Yes, @LilyWatson is my girlfriend. Please stop hating on her. She's the kindest and most beautiful girl ever. She doesn't deserve any of this. She makes me happy and I love her so much. Please stop the hate and just be happy for the both of us."

I just stared at my phone. Watched as the notifications went crazy about the tweet Shawn posted. Suddenly all the hate disappeared. And everyone was so welcoming and sweet. I smiled.

"Now we're official." He said, then intertwined his fingers with mine.

"I can't believe you did that." I said.

"I should've done that from the start actually. But now that they all know, you shouldn't be afraid anymore. Just ignore the hate. Okay?" He said.

I smiled, "okay."

"Ugh I have school tomorrooowww!" I sighed.

Yes, I have school tomorrow. It's the start of a new school year again, and it will be the last because I'm graduating after this year.

"Sucks to be you." Shawn laughed.

"Easy for you to say. You already graduated high school. And I still have a year to finish." I said.

"That's okay. Only a few steps left to graduate." He smiled.

"Wait, so you have classes tomorrow?" Taylor asked.

"Yeah." I frowned.

"Then we'll drive you to school." He said.

"No you don't have to. I can walk by mys-"

"Nonsense! We'll drive you there whether you like it or not." Cameron added.

I just laughed then gave in. They won't take 'no' for an answer.

"Well then, I'm gonna head upstairs and I'll see you guys tomorrow morning." I said.

"Okay! Good night Lily!" Taylor said. Then they all said their goodnight's.

"Good night!" I said then went upstairs to my room then went to sleep.
