Chapter 52 - Flight back home

Third person's P.O.V.

The car stopped as the boys came down with Lily.

It was extremely awkward for all of them especially for Lily and Shawn since they were not in good hands.

"Our flight is booked tomorrow morning, so it's best that ya'll go and get packed." Cameron said as soon as they all got inside the suite.

"I'll be in our room," Lily awkwardly said, remembering that she shared a room with Shawn.

Shawn cleared his throat, as he sat on the couch, sighing deeply.

"Dude, you two influence the awkwardness in the room too much, I think I might puke." Taylor complained.

"Yeah. Look, we know you two broke up, but it doesn't mean that you'll treat each other like strangers," Aaron said.

Shawn sighed, "if you were in my shoes, you would understand."

"Shawn's right. It's not easy for him to act normal now that he's in a break-up situation." Cameron said.

"We know, bro. But, try to at least ease up the awkwardness. It's so uncomfortable." Matt added.

"I won't promise anything." Shawn quietly said.

They all got up early in the morning, already packed up and ready for the trip back home.

As soon as they arrived at the airport,  they got their plane tickets ready as they settled down in the waiting area, waiting for their flight to be called.

Lily's P.O.V.

As we sat down to wait for our flight, I decided to call Connor and Kaylee. I miss them so much. I haven't talk to them for so long.

I dialed Kaylee's number first, hoping she's with Connor.

"Hello?" Her voice rang through the line after four rings.

"Hey, Kay! Miss me?" I smiled.

"Oh my God, it's about time you called! Of course I missed yah!" She laughed making me chuckle a bit.

"Is Connor there?"

"Well, of course. But he's in the bathroom- wait, he's here." Kaylee said then I heard some shuffles in the background.

"Who's that?" I heard Connor's voice say.

"It's Lily," Kaylee said.

"Omg let me speak to heeer!" Connor excitedly says.

"Chill your ass! I'll put it in speaker." Kaylee said. I laughed.

"Lilyyyy," I heard them both say simultaneously.

"Hiiii!" I cheered.

"Good Lord, it's about time you called us! How are you? How are things doing?" Connor said.

"Well," I chuckled letting a huge sigh, "a lot of things happened."

"Is there something wrong?" Kaylee said.

"N-no. I'm doing fine, actually." I said.

"How are things going with Shawn?" Connor asked.

"Oh, I um.. Actually, we're not really, um.." I stuttered.

"Is there a problem?" Kaylee asked.

"I'll talk to you guys later okay? I'm just waiting for our flight back to Los Angeles. Meet me at our flat as soon as I get home, okay?" I said.

"Okay. Have a safe flight, Lils. We love you!" Connor said.

"I love you guys, too." I smiled before I hung the phone up.
