Chapter 5 - I will find you

Lily's P.O.V.

I slowly opened my eyes, the sunlight beaming through the curtains. As much as I wanted to stay in bed, I don't wanna waste a perfect morning. So, I got up and stretched my whole body. I walked straight to the bathroom to take a relaxing shower. I brushed my teeth then got out of the bathroom to wear something comfortable. A pair of sweatpants and a black tank top. I checked the time, and it was only 7:02 am. I decided to head downstairs and greet the guys a happy morning. But instead, I was greeted by a note on the kitchen table.

Good morning, Lils! Me and the boys went food shopping for a bit. Be back in a few! - Shawn

I placed the note back to where it was after reading. Why do they have to go shopping so early?

I thought that the boys might be hungry, so I'm gonna make them breakfast. I made pancakes, eggs and bacon. And just in time, the boys entered the house just in a matter of seconds.

"Wow! What's that smell!" Taylor said once they all entered the house.

"It smells so delicious!" Carter added.

Soon, they followed the smell in the kitchen.

"Good morning, fellas." I greeted.

"You made breakfast?" Shawn asked.

"Yeah. You guys hungry?"

"Absolutely!" Nash said sitting at the table followed by the others.

I handed them each of their plates with the same food and they started eating.

"This is literally heaven." Aaron said with food stuffed in his mouth.

"Thank you." I laughed.

"Oh, by the way guys. We're having another event for magcon." Matt said. "Lily should come with us."  

"Where?" Nash said.

"San Francisco." Taylor said.

"S-San Francisco?" I asked. I can't go back there! My mom might see me roaming around there then she'll get back at me!

"Yeah. Is there something wrong?" Taylor asked. I just looked at Shawn who also gave me a concerned look.

"Are you sure it's in San Francisco?" Shawn asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Matt asked confused.

"What's the matter?" Cameron asked looking at my eyes.

"Uh.. Nothing.. I-I just..." I stuttered trying to find the right words to say.

"Lily?" Carter said. They all looked at me confused.

"Excuse me." I said then ran upstairs to my room closing the door behind me.

I can't tell them. I don't have the guts to tell them about my mom. I don't want them to be in my situation. What am I gonna do? How am I gonna tell them? Or should I even tell them. I just... I just don't know. 

"Lily?" I heard Shawn's voice say behind the door. "Please open the door."

"Who's with you?"

"It's just me."

I walked towards the door and opened it letting him inside my room then closing the door after.

"Shawn.. I can't tell them. They shouldn't know about my mom. You don't know what my mom can do. I don't want you guys getting hurt because of me." I said, my eyes getting teary.

"Lily, I would never let anyone hurt you, okay? And I'm sure, the boys would do the same." He said.

"I've caused enough trouble just by staying here."
