Chapter 32 - Burgers

Lily's P.O.V.

We both went downstairs, only to be greeted by six boys, smirking.

I awkwardly stared at them.

"What?" I asked.

"Oh sorry, are you guys finished with your 'business'?" Taylor smirked.

I looked at Shawn who was turning red.

"No need to be embarrassed. Just make sure that everytime you do that, use protection." Cameron winked.

"Shut up." I said then sat with them.

"We're about to grab some burgers. Wanna come? Or finish some business?" Nash smirked.

"No, we'll come." I said. They laughed.

"Not to mention it, I'm kinda getting hungry." Shawn said.

"Then let's go!" Carter said then we all piled up in the van.

We started to drive our way to the burger place when Aaron turns on the radio.

I thought that I've been hurt before..

"OH MY GOD THIS IS THE JAM!" Taylor yelled. Then we all started to act like fangirls.

"Omg is that Shawn freaking Mendes?!?" Cameron yelled, with a high-pitched voice making Shawn laugh.

"It's Shawn Mendes!!! Everybody shut the fudge up!" Matt yelled.

"Turn up the volumeeee!" I said then Taylor turned it up to 30.

"WAIT FOR IT, WAIT FOR IT.." Nash said, as we waited for the next verse.

"GOT A FEELING THAT I'M GOING UNDER, BUT I KNOW THAT I'LL MAKE IT OUT ALIVE!" we all sang.

"IF I QUIT CALLING YOU MY LOVER, AND MOVE ON.."

"THIS IS IT!" Matt yelled referring to the chorus.

"YOU WATCH ME BLEED UNTIL I CAN'T BREATHE, I'M SHAKING, FALLING ONTO MY KNEES. AND NOW THAT I'M WITHOUT YOUR KISSES, I'LL BE NEEDING STITCHESSSS!" we all sang impersonating Shawn's fans.

"I love you Shawn!! Have my babies!" Carter yelled.

"Omg Shawn why you so damn hottttt?!" I yelled.

"Really?" He asked smirking, he said it in more of a statement.

"OMG HE NOTICED ME GUYS!!" I yelled.

"Damn gurl, you're so lucky!!" Cameron said flipping my hair.

We all laughed our butts off, literally just goofing around. Minutes later, after two more songs, we made it to the burger place.

"We're here!" Aaron announced. We all got out of the van and entered the place. The essence of burgers and fries making me want to crave more.

"We'll order the food while you guys find us a booth." Matt said then walked to the counter with Taylor, Aaron and Carter.

We found a booth across from us.

"There's a booth," I said pointing to a large booth at the back. We walked towards it when I lightly stumbled over someone who was walking in my direction as well.

"Oh, sorry." I said then looked at the person, "Connor?"

"Lily?" He smiled, "small world."

"What're you doing here?" I said then gave him a hug.

"I'm with Kaylee. She's in the restroom, we're about to leave, actually." He said.

"You're hanging together without me?" I said with a sad look.

"Well we were texting you about it but you weren't replying. We wondered where you went." He said.

"Oh," I said realizing that I didn't texted back to them.

"Who's with you?" He asked.

"The boys." I smiled.

"And your boyfriend?" He smirked.

"Yes." I smiled.

"Hey let's go?" Kaylee asked walking towards us.

"Lily? Oh my God I didn't see you there peasant!" She laughed.

I hugged her tight and laughed. "It's okay."

"Hey Lils, we found the booth you-" Cameron said but was cut off when he saw Connor and Kaylee.

"Oh let me introduce to you my friends." I said. We then walked up to the booth with Cameron only to see that they were all already there waiting for the orders.

"Boys, I'd like you to meet my friends in school. This is Kaylee, and this is Connor." I said pointing at them.

They all said nice hi's and hello's.

"These are my best friends. Nash, Taylor, Matt, Carter, Aaron and Cameron." I said pointing at them one by one,

"and this is Shawn. My boyfriend." I smiled pointing at him.

"Oh so he's the one you're telling us." Kaylee smirked.

"Shh!" I said making her laugh.

"Well it's all nice to meet you, but we have to go. We'll see you guys next time!" Kaylee said, then smiled.

"Sure. It's nice to meet you guys too." Taylor said then they all said their goodbye's.

"We'll see you tomorrow, Lily. Bye!" Connor said then left with Kaylee.

I then sat beside Shawn.

"I never knew you already made friends in school," Taylor said.

"I met Kaylee in my first class. I sat beside her and she was nice to me. We instantly became friends." I said.

"And, Connor?" Shawn asked.

"I met Connor in my second class in biology. We're assigned as partners for a class research and that's where we got along."

"Oh, okay." Shawn said avoiding eye contact. Wait, I know this action of his.

Soon, the waiter brought our foods on our table.

"Here's your meals. Enjoy eating." The waiter said then left.

"Thank God! I'm starving," Nash said.

We all started digging in as I watched Shawn. He was being quiet. His actions are so familiar.

I already know what's up.
