Shawn's P.O.V.

After minutes of driving, we saw a tub of ice cream on the side of the street just a few blocks away from the supermarket.

"Wait a minute. That might be Lily's!" Nash said getting out of the van with us following. He picked up the ice cream tub and examined it. Taylor found the reciept and read it.

"Dude, it is Lily's." He said.

"What?" Matt asked.

I took the reciept from his hands and took a look. I saw Lily's name printed on the paper.

"It is her's." I said. "But where can she be at this time?"

"I don't wanna say this, but I got a strong feeling that something happened to her. She would never come home late without our permission, especially without her ice cream." Aaron pointed out. He's kinda right though.

I'm really getting worried. Where can she be at this time? I hope she's okay. I will find her. Even if it takes forever.

"Let's find help. We need to report this to an officer." Cameron said.

"I'll drive to the police station. Let's go." Taylor said as we got in the van.

* * *

"What would I help you boys with?"

"We need to report a specific incident sir." Matt said.

"What incident?" An officer said behind the counter.

"You see, our friend is missing. She hasn't been home in the last 6 hours." Nash continued.

"Any idea where she could be?" The officer asked.

"We actually have no idea, officer." Carter said.

"Do you think she ran away from home?" The officer continued.

"No. We were perfectly fine when she left." Cameron said.

They continued talking and reporting about the incident when I saw a bulletin board with different pictures of wanted persons.

"Excuse me." I said as I walked up to the bulletin board.

I took a closer look and a picture caught my eye. The woman looks exactly like Lily's mother!

"Is there something wrong, sir?" The officer asked looking at me.

Soon, the boys all laid there eyes on me.

"Umm, I just have a question. May I know who this woman is?" I asked pointing at the picture.

"Oh that? We've been looking for that woman for 2 years now. She's been doing illegal drugs and sells them. We even heard that she abuses her own daughter. We haven't seen her since she moved away." The officer said. "Why? Do you know her by any chance?"

"Officer, I may have known her." I said. "She's my best friend's abusive mother. Mrs. Watson."

"Wait, what if she found Lily?" Cameron said.

"And...took her?" Taylor added.

"You boys might have a point. Mrs. Watson is still out there. She might've taken your friend."

"What do we do?" Nash asked.

"Don't worry. We'll help you find your lost friend." The officer said.

"Thank you. Thank you so much officer." I said.

"Don't mention it. We'll do our best to help." The officer said then stood up from his chair then spoke to the other police men.

"We'll find her." Aaron said patting my back.

"I hope she's okay." I said biting my nails. "If anything happens to her, I swear, I-"

"Nothing will happen to her. We need to stay positive, alright?" Taylor said.

"We all know that Lily is a strong and independent woman. And we need to trust her." Nash added.

I know she's strong. I know she will never give up that easily.

But the thought in my mind wouldn't leave me. I've been overthinking. Wondering where she could be and what would be her state right now.

I love her too much to lose her. But then, there's Cameron. Cameron is one of my best friends. I can't interfere with that.

"Shawn!" Aaron said waving a hand in my face. I blinked three times before snapping back to reality.

"What?"

"We're heading home. It's already midnight. We need some rest. The police will inform us if they get anything from Lily." Matt said.

"O-okay." I said, still not in myself.

"It's okay, man. We'll find her soon." Taylor said.

"Hopefully."
