Stage name: Feather[weight]

Her stage name is kinda generic and not that flashy. You probably won't get a lower grade for this, but I'm sure there are so many more interesting stage names.

Date of Birth: 8th June, 1867

Date of Death: 17th April, 1904

(I didn't write an age for her, as I have her birth to death date written, and she is around 25 at the time of Book of Circus. It is from the Black Butler fandom, and is set in the Victorian era)

Description: She is around 5' 4.

light blonde hair in two long plaits, short spiky bangs clipped back from face with long stands covering ears. Murky green eyes. Pale skin. Shadows around eyes due to tiredness and smoking habit. Left arm from elbow and lower is prosthetic.

It's good that she's not entirely perfect.

Outfit 1: performance leotard. Left arm cut short. Both sleeves end in green. Main colour is pink, green slash across middle, ends in light purple. Piece cut out above cleavage.

Outfit 2: plain high-necked mossy green dress. Long sleeves and skirt. One petticoat, whale-bone corset and chemise. White stockings and old black leather shoes.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved. She is determined and once her mind is set, she can be quite stubborn. She is sympathetic, but can be quite sensitive and delicate, although she hides these traits from others by acting outgoing in social situations.

Her personality traits match together nicely.

Likes: Her family, namely her sister and father, performing (she is a trapeze artist/acrobat), the colour green, apples, snakes, her friend Eli, organ grinder music, cigarettes

Dislikes: Peter and Wendy (the first tier trapeze artists), ice cold water, slow music, headlice, loud people

Strengths: Her flexibility and talent for trapeze, her determination

Weaknesses: Her fear of being close to people as they might die/disappear, her sensitivity to insults

Why would people she's close to die/disappear? Is that part of her plot?

Backstory: As a child, her father was often away as he worked as a costermonger [sold fruit and vegetables]. Her mother taught her to dance to make her and her older sister, Irene, happy. She discovered her flexibility whilst playing circus with other children in the neighbourhood after sneaking in to see them perform.Her father disappeared mysteriously when she was 7. Irene worked to support the family. When Catherine was 14, Irene drowned in the Thames on a trip to London wherein she was accidentally pushed off a bridge and Catherine met a Reaper named Eli who collected Irene's soul. Catherine began using her flexibility to perform for money,which her new acquaintance Eli attempted to steal, on the streets of peckham. She eventually befriends the shinigami. In 1883, the Noah's Ark circus played in Peckham and Catherine attended an audition under the stage name of Featherweight. She was injured by a knife thrown misdirectedly at her by a circus player and the circus doctor offered to give her a prosthetic arm from the elbow lower to fix the problem. She spent two months recovering and getting used to this new appendage. The circus left and Catherine was forced to return to the streets, now going by the name Feather. She joined the newly opened Crown Theatre in 1899 as a tight rope walker and trapeze artist. She dies in 1904 after falling from the hire wire and breaking her spine, and her soul was collected by Eli.

Detailed backstory, which is good for understanding the character. It's good that it's not too horribly tragic because that tends to be a common type of backstory. I don't think a knife would cuts someone's arm off though? Maybe a sword? And, if assuming the knife only gave her a serious gash, why would you replace it instead of just medicating it, sewing it up, bandaging it and waiting for it to heal? Were they afraid it would get infected?

Crush/Love interest: Formerly an unrequited crush on Snake (canon snake charmer in the circus), but eventually falls in love with Eli

Brief Writing (B): I glared daggers at my idiotic companion. "How dare you even SUGGEST such an atrocious outing, Elijah Blackmore?" I snorted,"Shall I spell out the reasons why we shall not be attending the ice sculpture festival? One, ice. I HATE ice, and ice cold water, and just cold water in general, I can barely survive the cold water in the washrooms here! " Eli merely smirked at my rage."Secondly, people", I continued with revulsion, "LOUD people. I hate loud people. Another reason why I question the fact that I work in a circus. Finally, we could not be seen out alone together without any form of chaperone, as little as I wish to be seen as more than platonically interested in you, Blackmore, it would be most improper".

Eli pulled a face. "That's rich, coming from you, the girl who shows her legs and cleavage to any fellow who pays his penny to watch you perform. And it's fine, I asked Wendy and she said she would be happy to chaperone to keep you happy "

I nearly choked at this information. "Eli, I hate Wendy, and that curious boyfriend of hers, with a fiery vengeance, you of all people know this! "

He only laughed out loud at my unhappiness, the rude git. "My, what a day we have ahead of us!"

This is one of the better Black Butler ocs I've seen. She was very detailed, with an entertaining brief segment of writing that portrayed her and Eli's relationship Nicky to me, and she had a good amount of interesting traits. Her backstory had good original parts and, in all, was a fairly appealing character. The circus part of her sounds like a fun part of her story and was interesting.
