For some reason, when I read the Warriors, the Medicine cat was always my favorite. I don't think I've seen many Med Cat ocs.

Personality:

Treeclaw hasn't necessarily been known to always be the nicest cat, but he gets around. Dedicated to his job of helping others recover, he gets annoyed easily when others rush him or call him a coward as he becomes grumpy quite often due to this. Saying this, he doesn't take a liking to cats call him a coward because he isn't and never will be. A strategic competitor, he had to beat out many others  for the role of the third and final healer, memorizing herbs and their use quickly with his fast paced mind.  Quite rude, Treeclaw will snap at anyone who gets on his bad side or does anything particularly annoying. When cats try to leave before they are fully recovered, he will hunt them down and drag them back if he has to. He holds grudges and doesn't let anyone get away from him, being ruthless.On the other hand, Treeclaw is also quite the helpful cat. Lending a hand to those in need, he doesn't mind the occasional gift such as dropping off a warm meal for him or letting him take a break. Treeclaw was never really the one to relax, always working or studying and trying to figure out alternative options to treat wounds / sicknesses. He is kind when you actually get to know him, a gruff personality if you don't. Although rebellious, he likes rules and normally sticks to them. In all, Treeclaw is not the worst cat.

He reminds me of Jayfeather, but I think I like your oc better and would rather read a book about him than Jayfeather. He actually has a nice side that kind of redeems his social weaknesses.

Appearance:

[ Fur Color - Light Grey with darker grey stripes ]

Treeclaw has a trimmed, long grey hair coat on the lighter end of the grey spectrum covered with spaced, dark grey almost black stripes that rest along his body and haunches along with one or two on his long tail. Although tall for his breed, he only seems to be around normal height around others--with the exception of a couple smaller cats. A broad, muscular build his hidden underneath his layer of hair, tall and thin ears poking out of it. Deep green light eyes with a hint of a brownish yellow are separated with his stripped nose, his muzzle being white underneath. Low hanging, pink nostrils are less visible, not noticeable if he glances downwards. Wide paws support his frame, longer tiffs of fur contouring his chest. Concluding, Treeclaw isn't necessarily a bad looking cat.

Most cats are beautiful, but you are right, he isn't a bad looking kitty.
