Clan: RiverClan

Isn't an original clan, but acceptable because he doesn't seem to have any relationships with canon characters that affects the story.

I like how's he's an elder. Most of the main characters in Warriors are young cats and his age is different.

Appearance: unusually large grey tom, left shoulder sticks up a bit due to an old injury, brown eyes.

Personality: mirthful, humorous, patient, talkative, jovial

He seems like the type of person... Cat that everyone would want to be around to talk about their problems to and hear stories from!

Likes: lying in patches of grass in the sun, watching the first snowfall of leaf-bare, has a certain taste for smaller fish and the occasional water vole.

His likes compliment his peaceful personality.

Dislikes: Wild onions, long walks, and squirrels. He hates being treated as if he is incapable of caring for himself though he will on occasion admit that he does need help.

I like how he dislikes being treated like he can't take care of himself, but he will admit if he needs help occasionally. It kind of fits that peaceful, old timer type personality.

Strengths: he is great at storytelling (as most elders seem to be) and back in his heyday he had near perfected the art of RiverClan's water combat, though he was not an expert....

Weaknesses: since his injury he awaited a permanent limp and is unable to properly use his foreleg and shoulder. This, combined with his age, has made him slow and he is no longer able to fish or swim as he used to.

Background: he got into much mischief as a kit and was very adventurous as an apprentice, though mellowed out some when he became a warrior. Not long after he was made a warrior he was seriously injured: he'd been on dawn patrol near the gorge and came across a rogue trespassing. He went to chase them out of the territory and it broke out into a fight. Boulderstep and the rogue ended up falling over the lower side of the gorge and he landed roughly on a large rock, knocking his shoulder out of place. The rogue was swept away and hasn't been heard of since. But, though his shoulder was able to be put back into place, the incident left him with a permanent limp. He later had his name changed from Boulderfur to Boulderstep.

Him injuring himself is similar to Croockedjaw, but it's in such a different way which is great!

He served his clan for as many moons as he was able before retiring to the elder's den due to stiffness in his leg.

Like I've said, I like how he's an elder.

This character is pretty great. He isn't a Marty Sue, he doesn't have a stereotypically mean or sarcastic personality, and he's an elder. There isn't much more to say about him other than he's a interesting character I would like to read about if I were still into the Warrior books.
