The figure then leaned down my neck and I felt something start to bite down. I started trying to throw the person off but nothing helped. Soon the figure was thrown off of me and a thud was heard. I opened my eyes to see a man with raven hair attacking the other figure. I quickly gathered my things and stood up ready to run. The figure then ran off fast and the man looked at me, "Who are you?" I asked with wide eyes.

"That doesn't matter. Are you okay?" He asked studying me with his red tinted hazel eyes.

"Yes because after being almost attacked I'm doing peachy." I sarcastically said but realized I needed to express gratitude, I mean he did help me. "But thank you."

"No problem. Just stay outta here princess."

I was quickly pissed off with the nickname princess. I don't really understand why but it hit a nerve, "Whatever thanks." I hissed.

Soon he ran off in a heartbeat. I scurried out of the woods to my house locking the door once I got in, "Jesus Violet, you look like you've seen a ghost." Jacob said and looked back at me.

"Oh shush Jacob." I said faking a smile running upstairs to my room. I was terrified for three reasons. One I was almost attacked or technically attacked, second I couldn't for the life of me figure out who that man that helped was, and third I didn't know where the hell he came from.
