Chapter Seven: A Not-So Warm Welcome

I wake up to Gerard gone and I'm laying on the couch. I drag my self from the couch and brush my teeth, get dress, and brushed my hair.

I go out the door and head for cemetery in complete silence. I walk into the cemetery heading for the tree but then I stopped and saw my mother's grave. I walked to it and sat by it, when I was born my mother died. My mother's side of the family always blamed me for her death. They said I was a fuck up and should deserve all the pain I get. I thought it was true and I still do...the world would have been better without me.

It started raining so I just headed home but before I left I was stopped by three people the tallest had curly hair and tan skin, the shortest had black hair with one side blonde and shaven, and the last one had glasses and wore a beanie.

"W-who are y-you?" I asked backing up a bit, afraid of the strangers since they looked quite scary.

"Oh don't worry sugar it's okay." The short one smiled showing fangs. My heart dropped as I felt my brain starting to panic. Of course as soon as I meet Gerard this shit would happen.

I ran to the back of the cemetery as fast as I could but soon a weight pushed me down onto the ground. "It's okay." One of them whispered softly into my ear and then started pushing their fangs into my neck. A cry for help escaped my mouth as I tried to move from under his weight.

"Michael Way you better get off of her before I beat your ass." I heard Gerard yell from not too far away. I then felt the person stand up, leaving on the ground, feeling completely puzzled

Immediately I stood up, looking around at the guilty strangers. "What the hell is going on?" I asked, not sure on what to do or say.

"Well my brother Mikey and his friends decided to go hunting." Gerard hissed and glared at his brother who was awkwardly standing off to the side.

"Sorry!" Mikey said raising his hands up in defense of his brother.

"Whatever," Gerard rolled his eyes and looked back at me, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine." I sighed and placed my shaking hand over my neck since it was in a tremendous amount of pain.

Gerard furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at my neck. His hand reached out, taking my hand so he could look at my neck. I felt a warm sensation down my neck and soon his eyes became dark.

Then it hit me, my neck was fucking bleeding as I was surrounded by four vampires. "Oh fuck." I panicked while putting my hand on my neck. I didn't know what to do so I did what I do best, run home.
