18- Date Number Two

Gerard said he had a suprise for me tonight. He also said this was going to be our second date so I'm getting ready.

I put on my dark blue dress along with tan shoes. Last I curled my hair and applied mascara. I walked out and saw Gerard wearing a dress shirt and black pants.

"You look stunning." Gerard whispered kissing my head

"Same to you." I blushed "now where are we going?"

"Not telling you that easy, come on." He replied grabbing my hand and pulling me to his car

We finally stopped and he opened my side. I looked around to see we were in a parking lot with a beach nearby.

"What the h-" before I could finish Gerard picked me up carrying me to the beach where a blanket, food, and a candle laid

He looked at me smiling before he sat me on the blanket

"This is wonderful Gerard!" I exclaimed looking at the candle

He giggled and handed me a plate

Please say he didn't bring meat, please, please

He then put some salad on my plate and I let out a sigh of relief

"What's wrong?" He asked grabbing my hand

"Nothing...what is this?" I asked looking at the the gold and blue ring he had on his finger

"Oh, just the ring that lets me stay in sun." He said shrugging

"I've never noticed it." I laughed

"Violet?" He asked standing up

"Yes?" I replied

He then got down on one knee and took out a ring box

No, no, he can't be

"Violet Jane will you make me the happiest man on earth and be my official girlfriend."

"Of course!" I giggled as slid the ring on my finger

I then hugged him hanging onto his neck. And then I kissed him. We let go and I fell on the ground. Gerard then laughed at me.

I then did what any mature person would do, I threw sand on him.

"This declares war!" He said getting sand I ran down the beach

"Come back here!"

"No!" I screamed until I can across two men standing there with cigarettes staring at me

I looked closer to see Andy and Bob

"Gerard!" I screamed running back to him

"What?" He asked throwing the sand at the ground

"B-bob and A-andy are here."

"Come on." He said picking me up and getting our stuff

He then sat me in the passenger seat as he packed the stuff and drove home

"You're okay." He said placing his hand on my thigh

"I know." I whispered looking at him as he drove

We then got home and he unpacked as I ran inside getting in pajamas. I plopped on the bed finding my cover and wrapping it around me. Gerard then walked in with pajamas laying by me as he wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you." I smiled

"I love you too princess." He said playing with my hair
