Gerard's POV
I awoke to nothing but the darkness of night and the dim light of streetlamps and a desk lamp. I closed my eyes and leaned my arm to wrap around Violet. When I did I felt nothing but cold, empty sheets. I jerked up and looked over to see no Violet, I jumped up and approached the desk which had a lit lamp upon it. When I observed the table four letters sat beside the lamp with a pen ontop.
I moved the pen away and read the letter adressed to me.
She didn't...
"Violet!" I screamed and threw the letter to the ground

Violet's POV
Life is such a uncertainty. Any second everything you've built and created could be taken away. No one is guaranteed tomorrow, most live without questioning tomorrow while others question tomorrow and the work of the world.
I, myself fit the last description.
Did I plan this? No. I wanted to live forever, with Gerard and the guys. Did this happen? No.
I can blame it on my enemies but at the end of the day this is all my fault. I brought all of this upon my self.
With all this in mind I sat at the edge of the cliff, over looking the moon and sea. One wrong-or right-move my fate could be in the sea. I wanted my last moments to be happy not tragic. I didn't want anyone to think this is tragic but beautiful instead.
A depressed soul crossing over to the supposed heaven or hell. Where that soul can live freely among other lost souls and be happy once again. It's quite heart-warming and magical if you think about it.
Now aside from this 'poetic' shit it's about my ti-
"Violet!" I heard someone scream
"Shit." I muttered and jumped up, backing up
"Violet what the hell are you doing!?" Gerard screamed exiting the forest with the guys closely following behind
"I'm gonna be free Gerard! I'll be happy again!"
"But Violet aren't you happy with us?"
"Of course Gerard but I need to be free from this disgusting world."
"But Violet we can work this out! Please princess don't jump!" He exclaimed
The guys couldn't speak, tears and shock took them over.
Am I hur-
No!
This is just what I deserve! They knew this!
"Gerard I'll be happier and safer this way."
"I'm here to protect you Violet. I'll save you from harm."
"Then Gerard you're going to have to save me from myself." I said with a sigh
I jumped back and watched the world flash among my eyes
Every memory flashed in my mind. Everything I've built,
Taken away
By my own hands

Gerard's POV
I dropped to my knees in shock.
She was gone.
The guys stormed off down the hill that led to the beach to get her.
It's no use,
She's dead
"I failed you princess...I'm so sorry." I said managing to choke back sobs
Violet was dead.
