"I don't know what to do!" I blurt as I walk into my dad's apartment. He sits on the couch like he was waiting for me the whole time. I flop down beside of him.

"What do you actually want to do?" He asks me. "Times have changed. I don't think they could hurt you. And Amar is out there running the place, which would be nice. I trust him."

"You think?" I ask.

"Yeah. I do." He replies.

"What would you do if I went?" I ask. I wanted him to come with me. I have friends yes but none of them actually understand my life like he does.

"What would you want me to do?" He asks seriously.

"Come with me. If they allow that." I reply avoiding eye contact.

"Okay then. I guess we are going outside the city." He smiles down at me.

"He's coming back tomorrow?" I ask.

      "Yeah." He answers.

"I'm going to go talk to Bianca. She seems really mad at me about this." I frown.

"Good luck now." He smiles and walks into the kitchen. I get up and walk to my apartment where I see Avary, Amaryllis, and Bianca sitting.

"Finally." Bianca grumbles.

"Have you decided to talk to us about this yet?" Avary asks.

"I don't think I have a choice." I say and wipe my sweaty palms on my leggings. "I'm going outside the city. They won't tell me why. But I want to go. I'm going outside the city with four or more other dauntless and 25 other people."

"Who are the other dauntless?" Amaryllis asks.

"They don't know yet." I reply smoothly.

"Then tell them I'm going if you are." Amaryllis states.

"Huh?" I ask kind of surprised.

     "I'm going." Amaryllis says.

"I'm nobody to keep you from doing so." I hold my hands up in defense.

"Me too." Bianca says. Avary looks at me helplessly.

     "I can't." She whispers.

"I never asked you to." I say not even understanding why she was apologizing.

"I want to stay with Falcon." Avary whispers. "And he won't go. I can promise you that."

"Don't worry about it." I say. "I didn't expect any of you to come anyway." I shrug.

"Oh. Okay." Avary mumbles.

"Have you made your choice?" Andrew asks me.

"Yes. On one condition I will come. If I choose the five or more dauntless to accompany me." I say.

"Okay. Fair enough." He shrugs. "And who shall they be?" I've already socialized with plenty of people and found who has wanted to go.

"Bianca- as you wanted-, Noah, Amaryllis, Jake, and Jackson. Then my dad. Not for testing though." I say.

"More than I wanted but we can make this work I assume." Andrew clicks his tongue.
