Amaryllis POV

"But that's really good Amaryllis. You should be more happy about it." Jackson says and nudges me.

"I am, I'm just taking it in slowly." I claim, but it is true. "Maybe it was just a one time thing." I sigh and start to second guess myself. "And I still have severe PTSD that won't go away. Maybe the dreams will go away but what about the dripping."

"The dripping?" Jackson asks me

"I'd been hearing this noise and I haven't identified it for a long time but recently I remembered the dripping. In the van, behind me, the gasoline was just dripping into a pool. Then it all just caught fire." I shrug. People think just because you can say it easily, it means everything else about it was easy.

"Why wouldn't you tell me about it?" Jackson asks softly.

"Cause I didn't know what it was." I say honestly. "I wasn't sure what it was. Maybe just a noise in my head, but it was the dripping of the gasoline." I shift uncomfortably in my seat. But then Jackson did something I didn't really expect. He wrapped both his arms around me. I didn't respond at first slightly taken aback. It wasn't just a one-armed hug or just a hug because I was an emotional wreck, but this was something real. I slowly wrap my arms around his neck and bury my face in his shoulder.

I wasn't crying this time which was unusual.

Jackson tilts my head up just a little and carefully brushes s piece of hair out of my face avoiding my scarring. I did something I didn't think I would do. I grab his hand and touch it against my face. I've never let anyone touch that side of my face after the accident. I barely ever even touched it myself.

"Amaryllis." Jackson says.

"I'm sorry. I've been like a dead weight. I've just sat here while you worry about Me and im surprised you haven't left. Thank you for not leaving me because in certain parts of the last year or so I left. I felt like I just took a break out of my body and just relaxed, but j can't remember that part. I just remember what I had to experience." I sigh. "I love you Jackson."

"Thank you." Jackson says smiling.  "Thank you thank you thank you. You came back." He says and moment later he just kisses me. I close my eyes and let myself relax.

I forget everything. The dripping sound stops, the thoughts of death and explosions are cut off for now and the flow of everything else in my mind just stops.

"I love you Amaryllis." He whispers quietly into me ear.

Harper's POV

"Here, I've got these. Go back and make sure you don't have anymore bags." Noah tells me and takes the two boxes from my hands in the middle of the hallway.

"Okay thanks." I say and dust off my black leggings that now have dust scattering the front of them. I walk back to my apartment and grab the last box of belongings and pick it up.

I was moving in with Noah. We were trying to fix things, cover them up with pictures. So now we were making the pictures.

And as for Bianca she was just going to live life like a dedicated dauntless and try and forget, but she never really forgot, she had to have pictures too.
