I sit up in my bed and wiggle my toes around happy I can actually move them slightly.

"I'm scared." I whisper.

"Me too." Noah says.

"How long has it been." I whisper again.

"Only ten minutes." Noah replies.

"Okay." I say. Noah comes over to me from the back wall and lifts a hand to my face, running it along my cheek bone and jaw then leaving it on my tear stained cheek.

"Don't leave me please." Noah whispers.

"I'm sorry." I shake my head.

"Please tell me this isn't a surge." Noah cries. "Please Harper."

"You know I can't promise that." I whisper.

"I know." Noah pulls me into him and buries his face in my hair. "I love you, Harper Eaton."

"I love you too Noah Pedrad." I whisper close to his ear. "When you leave send Bianca in please. In the end I want everyone in here though." Noah nods and pulls me away from him. Bianca comes in next and her face is torn up with tears that she miserable attempts.

"Hey." Bianca says sitting in front of me on the hospital bed.

"Hi." I smile weakly.

"You don't know how to keep yourself out of trouble do you?" Bianca returns a weak smile.

"Nah." I chuckle. "I'm dying!" I break down into sobs. Bianca is soon there by my side with her arms wrapped around me.

"You might be dying." Bianca disagrees.

"Have you ever seen a case like mine where they don't die?" I ask.

"No..." Bianca says hesitantly. "But there are a few known to history."

"Few?" I ask tears running down my cheeks.

"Okay. I don't think I'm helping." Bianca states. "How about we act like you aren't gonna die?"

"First I have to tell you some things just in case you know." I say and she nods. "I wouldn't have made it through initiation without you. You're like my sister and you know I'll never have any siblings so now your my sister. And your my person.  I go to you for everything and your my person. I love you Bianca." I cry at the end and she pulls me into her arms.

"Your my person too." Bianca cries. "Try not to die okay?" Bianca pulls us apart and stands up. "You have other people you need to talk to." She steps outside and Dad comes in seconds later.

"You think mom'll like me?" I ask.

      "Don't say that." He scolds.

"Okay." I sniffle. My dad already has streaks of tears in his eyes as he comes up to me and hugs me, cradling me in his arms.

"Your still my baby girl no matter if you have your own apartment of if you have a boyfriend and I can't loose you." My whispers in my ear.

"I'm sorry." I cry, shaking uncontrollably.

"No, no, no, no. You might not, I mean there's always a chance." My dad throws the thought around in his head.

"I don't think I'm going to get better." I whisper shakily.

"You have to believe that you will Harper." He says soothingly but I can hear the sadness that blocks any other emotion in his voice.

"Will you be okay? If-" I stop before I continue.
