"Guys." Peter grimaces. "You look rough." I roll my eyes. Bianca told him before we came what happened but it didn't seem to affect his attitude.

"What do you want Peter?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Just another simulation for you dauntless to test." Peter shrugs. And turns on his heels and opens a door that looks like a safe. I look at Noah and raise an eyebrow and he just shrugs. We follow Peter into the room with glass door lining the walls. I look into the glass doors that are surrounding by glass walls and inside are people floating inside the room. If they can see us they aren't acting like it.

"What are they doing?" I ask.

"Some sort of a new sim." Peter says.

"Okay..?" Bianca replies walking faster so she is in front of Peter and looking inside of every door. "Hey look this guy is upside down." Bianca points inside a door. I step beside of her and looked in at the middle aged man who floats around effortlessly in the sky.

"The gravity is suctioned out of the room with that tube in the back." Peter says and points to the back. "You guys want to try it out?"

"Definitely." I grin. We all step into one of the rooms that only contain one button that I press almost automatically. My feet are lifted off the air slightly as I faintly float there. I wave my arms around and feel myself go higher. Everything around me turns into a dark forest scene as I look around and see some shadow without a face running at me with a gun that he doesn't look like he's going to fire. He's closer and closer in the 3D room and I kick upward seeing his reaction which is falling to the ground.

"Wow." I breathe.

Amaryllis POV

Everybody sits in the living room but something seems off. I look at the nightstand and the mess we all kept piled there wasn't there. I ran my hand over the polished mahogany wood. I look to my right and I see Jackson and to my self is Harper. They all talk in chirpy voices but I catch close to none of their conversation. I hear a loud bang and turn my head to the right along with everybody else.

"I'll go check it out." Jackson stands up. I almost move to stop him but I stop myself.

"Maybe we should go check on him?" Harper says worriedly after a few minutes of silence from the kitchen. I nod in agreement and sand up. Everybody else beats me out the door and stop in front of the door. I shove my way to the front and a gasp escapes my now pale lips. Jackson lay on the ground with blood pooling out of his chest.

"Somebody go get help!" I scream and kneel down beside of Jackson. I search for a blood source but there isn't any. I look behind me to see if they heard me but everybody lays on the ground in uncomfortable positions. "Oh my god what's happened!" I scream and examine the pool of blood but no matter how hard I try I can't find where the blood is coming from. "Somebody help me please!" I scream and feel myself start to cry out loudly in sobs.

"Amaryllis!" Somebody screams in the distance. It sounds identical to Jackson.

"Jackson?!" I scream and stand up running toward where I heard the scream.

"Amaryllis!" Jackson screams again. I feel right hands grip my shoulders but there's nothing in front of me. I thrash and kick but it feels as if I'm tied to where I stand. I jerk my body around trying to release my attackers hands that I cannot see.
