Chapter nineteem: friends? Or nah

I woke up early that morning to get ready for school, kaylem and lincon were still in bed as far as i knew i haven't really left my room I'm kinda still deciding on what bottoms i should wear.

Shorts?
Or
Pants?

Fudge it im going shorts. After i finish i look in my mirror at my outfit. Light blue sport singlet like the one i wore yesterday but different with black and blue shorts with my light blue and white runners.

Should be good enough. I dont wanna seem desperate or not interested. I think to myself. Plus i do want to try out for any sports teams they have.

"Okay Angelina, you got this" i say giving myself a pep talk before leaving my room and heading down stairs.

I came across they guys bedroom doors closed and i didn't want to wake them up so i just continued down the staircase towards the kitchen.

"Hey Angie" kaylem said from behind the kitchen counter cooking something that smelt amazing

"Hey kay" i say walking over to him "are you even old enough to cook?" I joke

"I will have you know i can cook anything i want" he said proudly

"Mmmhhm what ever ya say mate" i smiled

"By the way you didn't go in the garage yesterday" he said changing the subject

"Huh?" I ask "oh yeah doesn't matter i remember" i say recalling the events from last night "oh and why would my uncle get me a car when Aunt Mindy already did?" I ask

I still haven't seem my baby yet i internally whine

"Who said it was a car?" Lincon said voice popping up from near the couch. I could tell he was smirking without even looking at him

"Stop smirking or I'll wipe it off myself" i slightly tease

"Wait-what-how did you?" Kaylem asks astound

"Magic" i say sarcastically

"No seriously how did you do that? You weren't even looking in his direction while i was and not even i could tell if he was smirking or not and im the one with the good eyes" kaylem explained

"Who said i need eyes to know if he's smirking or not?" I say coping lincons words

"How then?" Lincon questions

"Your speech pattern. Your voice changes when you smile or are in a good mood" i say honestly "wait is it a motor bike?" I ask referring to the previous conversation about what was in the garage

"Well go have a look and find out" lincon said in a bored tone

"Maybe i will" i say before walking off towards the garage

Once i arrive i enter my birthday into the security pin hoping not to set off any alarms

I enter the shed to almost complete darkness but after a few seconds my eyes adjusted quickly and i can see the light switch.

Once i flip the switch Frankenstein comes alive and i am declared an evil genius of science mwhahahahahahahaha *cough**cough* damn this evil thing is hard work.
