"A-angie?" I hear a small voice ask me
"Yeah" i say positioning my body so that i was now facing Rae's side of the bedroom
"S-sorry I didn't mean to wake you" she says keeping her voice quiet enough not to disturb anyone else
"No you didn't wake me, i couldn't sleep" I say honestly "so whats up?" I ask referring to her still being up at this time of night "why cant you sleep?"
"You won't laugh?" She asks me
"Of course not"
"Its just ... I have a history o-of acute insomnia a-and usually I have Bailey, Carter or Stella to help me B-But..."
"But their not here right now, well Carter is but hes in a different room so how can i help?" I ask interrupting her sentence
"I just need to relax and focus on something else like a conversation if that's alright?"
"You relax by focusing? " i ask with a playful smirk on my lips even though she probably wouldn't be able to see it in the dark.
"Yeah i know it doesn't make much sense but it works" she says
"Okay I'll be glad to help" I say getting ready to start a random conversation "so who's Bailey and Stella are they your friends?"
"Yeah but bailey is also my twin brother" she says in a way that I could tell there was a smile on her face. That and the dark silhouette around her face moved in a way that tells me she's smiling.
"Younger or older twin?" I ask staying on that subject
"He's a few minutes younger" she says with the tone of her voice still telling me she was smiling "but he acts like an older brother except when it comes to the government " she laughs quietly
"The government?" I giggle " what's that about?"
"He believes in all these conspiracies"
"Conspiracies?" I laugh forgetting to control my volume but nobody woke up so it was okay.
" yeah" she smiles "he believes that the government watches you through your phone and laptop cameras. There are so many conspiracies that I can't keep up"
"Wait what, that's not real right?" I ask turning my phone over so the back camera couldn't see me
"N-no" she laughs " you do know there is a camera on the front of your phone as well." She giggles obviously knowing what I was doing
"I do now" I smile " I'm kinda new with phones this is my first one ever I don't really know what to do with it" I say honestly
"Seriously?" She asks shocked
"Yeah it's also my first time ever going on a camp so I guess I'm doing a lot of things for the first time"
"Same!" She says excitedly " it's my first time in a camp as well"
"Really" I smile "what are the chances and we both get placed in the same group"
"I know right that's amazing "
"I can't wait for tomorrow it'll be exciting" I say thinking about all the possibilities
"I have the schedule on my phone just give me. A second" she says grabbing her phone off the desk next to her being carefully not to move it to far since it was plugged into the charger. Suddenly a bright light engulfs her face as she instantly closes her eyes blinking until her eyes finally adjusted "okay tomorrow ..." she says swiping at her phone trying to get to the right information " after breakfast we have similar activities to what we did when we first arrived here. We have tug-o-war group against group then we have canoeing at the lake. After that we have a lunch brake at the lake"
"Wow we have a busy day tomorrow,...or is it today what's the time?"
"That's not all we have rock climbing then to end the day we have a hike through the woods and the time right now is 3:45am so that's stuff we're doing today"  she says shutting her phone off and placing it back on the desk before yawning
"Well I guess we better get you to sleep before we have to get up otherwise you won't be able to do much tomorrow"
"Yeah I guess your right" she says laying back into bed
"Does it have to be a conversation can you relax by listening to lyrics of a song?" I ask
"Yeah, my mum used to sing me to sleep but she's to busy now with work"
"Alrighty can I sing you a song"
"Yeah sure"
"Alright" I say taking a breath before singing "What would I do without your smart mouth?

I kept hearing it playing on loud speaker from his room it was the only song I liked all the rest were a little to scream, heavy metal and I couldn't get the words. I look over to see Rae I assume she's asleep because her breathing is even and she's not moving . "Night Rae" I say quietly getting out of bed and heading towards the shower. I don't know why but I didn't trust the locks on these doors enough to have a shower of the day time. I was going to go to bed early and wake up at around 4am to have a shower but since it's pretty much 4 now I might as well have a shower. After about 15 minutes I'm out of the shower dressed in my pjs and ready to hop into bed. Not long after I jump into bed I drift into a deep sleep
