~Demi’s POV~

I feel like Alison has a story, something I need to find out. The past week was great, having company with me, it wasn’t lonely anymore. I’m grateful, really I am but why do I feel worried every time Alison leaves the house for school? Maybe I’m getting motherly instincts. Yeah that’s it, I hope. That food fight didn’t seem like a food fight, everything looked like it was dropped on her heads, and the pasta looked like it was smashed into her face. Trust me, I’ve been there. I know what a food fight is and what’s not, also the pasta around her mouth was removed and her lips had a tinge of pink on them. She better not be kissing any boys.

“Alison wait.” I said to her before she left the house, she turned around and walked back over to me. I was still in m pajamas and my hair was in a bun, my hair was free of makeup. I sipped my coffee mug staring at Alison. (Imagine how perfect that would be. *melts in feels* -T)

“Yeah?” Alison asked me, looking at me like she was in a hurry.

“Why are you in such a hurry? There is still about 30 minutes until you have to be in school.” I told her, I noticed how she itched her nose; she would always do that when she was nervous.

“It’s a long way.” She lied to me.

“Oh really? You’re taking the car and it takes 10 minutes to get there.” I said, getting up and walking over to her.  “Is there something you’re not telling me?”

“I got in trouble for the food fight and have to come to school early to clean it up.” She suddenly burst out saying. Oh…I thought it was something else.

“Why were you hiding that?” I asked her, clearly confused. It was just that, I thought she was getting bullied or something. (Oh Demi…you have no idea. Ok fine I’ll stop with the side notes -T)

“I didn’t want you to be disappointed in me.” Alison said and I decided I should pull her into a hug.

“Don’t worry, I’ll always love you.” I said quoting Whitney Houston. Alison hugged me back; I let her go telling her to get to school.

~Alison’s POV~

I felt bad for lying to Demi but I didn’t want her to worry about me. I want her to think she got the best daughter in the world, and I think she’ll hate me if she found out I was lying to her. I pushed the thoughts out of my head and decided to get to school.

Once I got to school, I started walking to my first class. The school was empty since I was the first one there. I tried avoiding everyone but managed to bump into Will.

''Hey'' Will said awkwardly scratching the back of his head. I stayed quiet and didn’t dare say a word.

''I'm sorry for yesterday, if I could take it all back, I would,” He continued to say. I still didn't say a word.
