Bonus Chapter

This is still part of Chapter 10 :) Harper Ulyanov's up there :)

What do you usually do when you hear someone say how important you are? Cry out? Slap him for making your heart race? Hug him? Or should I kiss him? Nah. Scratch the latter.

I threw him the ball of cotton that I was holding.
"Ginagago mo ba ako? Tss! You could have died you idiot!" Although my heart fluttered to what he said, it also made me angry that he doesn't even value his life. I lost him for many years and the pain was unbearable. Losing him for life would make me go crazy.

Pinulot niya ang bulak na itinapon ko sa kanya at nakangising humarap sa akin. He then let out a mocking laugh. I just glared at him but looking at his face, his smiling face, i realized something. I can never forget about him. No matter what pain he'll put me through.

"I haven't heard of that laughter for a long time. You must be very happy, brother" abala ako sa pag aayos ng mga gamit ng marinig ko ang boses niya. It's been weeks since I last saw this kid and i never gave a thought about how he would feel seeing his brother. Biglang napawi ang mga ngiti sa labi ng nakatatandang lalake at napalitan ito ng mapang insultong ngisi. Nah. This is not a good idea.

"Why brother? Are you jealous?" naramdaman ko ang tensyon sa pagitan nilang dalawa. I glared at Raijin asking him to just shut up and not make the situation get worse. But the man didn't listen.

"No i'm not. Because your happiness won't last, brother. Just wait for me. I'll tear you down" sambit ng nakababatang lalake at nakipagsukatan ng tingin sa kanyang kapatid. Bago pa man lumala ang sitwasyon ay nagsalita na ako at tinanong si Kaelan kung bakit siya naparito.

"I just wanted to check on you. Trione told me about what happened." tumango ako sa sinabi niya at tipid na ngumiti. Tiningnan ko naman ang lalakeng kanina ay ginagamot ko. I asked him to go upstairs and take a rest. Thankfully he did what i asked him of. I don't need two men in one room who are both hungry for a kill.

"So you forgave him already? After what you heard?" rinig kong sabi ni Kaelan habang tinungo nito ang upuan. I washed my hands which are stained with blood on the kitchen sink.

"He has his reasons Kaelan. Please have faith in your brother." i saw disbelief in his face. I can't blame him for he lost his parents and his girl. But wouldn't it be more painful if he will lose his brother? He only has his grudge towards Raijin because they were connected by blood. Trione already asked for forgiveness. Raijin didn't.

"Love really makes you foolish." iiling iling niyang komento at nagsimulang tumayo.

"It really does Kaelan. So please don't turn a blind eye on your brother." tinungo niya na ang pinto ng kusina ngunit kasabay nun ay ang pagbukas nito dahilan para mapaatras siya.

Iniluwa niyon ang nag aalalang mukha ng pinakabatang tagabantay. Nagtataka ko siyang tiningnan ngunit nabigla ako ng makita ang lumuluhang mata ni Kaelan. He was looking at the young lady who didn't notice him.

"Binibini! Mabuti naman at ligtas ka" nagsimula siyang maglakad papunta sa akin ngunit hinawakan siya ng lalake. Bakas ang pagkabigla sa mukha ni Harper.

"Diana" mas lalong naguluhan ang babae dahil sa sinabi niya. Diana? I looked at Harper intensely and memorized her features. I tried remembering Kaelan's sweetheart and one outstanding feature of his girl was her black round eyes. I can't see Harper's eyes clearly due to the amount of fringe covering it.

"Nagkakamali ka. Ang pangalan ko ay Harper, ginoo." mataman siyang tinitigan ng lalake at makalipas ang ilang minuto ay pinunas nito ang luha sa kanyang mukha at humingi ng paumanhin. Tumango naman ang babae at naguguluhang lumapit sa akin. I looked at Kaelan as he walked out of the room. Poor boy.

Itinanong ni Harper kung nasaan ang lalakeng naghatid sa akin dito at ipinaliwanag ko sa kanya ang nangyari. She said that Nirvana sent her in case we needed help. Pinagmasdan ko ang mukha ng babae at sinubukang alalahanin ang mukha ni Diana. She was a beautiful kid whom Kaelan promised forever. Diana Peminova was his happy ending. 

"Maaari ko bang malaman kung sino ang ginoong iyon?" she asked me as she took one apple and ate it. I also grabbed one and took a bite. 

While i was telling her about Kaelan, i saw something in her eyes. It was like she was happy to hear about him after a long time. It was like relief striked her knowing that he's doing fine. But pain shot through her when I told her about how much the man suffered. Then suddenly, i saw tears falling down from her eyes. Dali niya itong pinunasan at alangang ngumiti.

"Nakakaiyak naman ang kwento niya. Kawawang ginoo" sambit niya habang humihingi ng paumanhin at pinipilit pigilin ang luha. It's the first time that I saw her break down her walls. Hindi ito ang klase ng babaeng madaling ipakita ang nararamdaman.

"It's okay Harper. You can be who you are when you're with me. No need to cover up" she then looked at me with surprise in her eyes. Ramdam ko na hindi siya ang klase ng taong mahilig sa mga talinhaga. Alam kong hindi iyon ang normal na paraan ng pananalita niya.

I see her as a carefree creature who lives her life to the fullest. And i want to see that version of her.

Nang maintindihan niya ang aking ibig sabihin ay ngumiti ito nang malawak at biglang nagtitili. And that was the first time that I heard an angel cuss.

"Finally! I am free from those f*cking ancient words! Goodness! I can feel my mouth burning everytime i try to be as f*cking ancient as i should be. Damn!" sambit niya na dahilan ng pagkabigla ko. This was not what i was expecting. Oh God! Napansin niya ang naguguluhan kong ekspresyon kaya humingi ito ng paumanhin. She then linked her arms on me and dragged me to my room asking for more stories. As I looked at her, i think i found another version of Alice. Just the liberated one.

Nauna siyang maglakad sa akin at agad na binuksan ang pinto ng aking kwarto ngunit hindi siya agad na pumasok. Sa halip ay napako ang kanyang gulat na tingin sa loob ng silid.

" uh oh! There's a yummy sexy beast in your room, young lady" sa una ay hindi ko naintindihan ang sinabi niya ngunit nang mapagtanto ko kung sino ang taong iyon ay dali akong lumapit sa pintuan. And there, on my bed, was a handsome creature sleeping peacefully with no shirt on. I can feel Harper's malicious look which i defensively denied. She then smirked and asked me to keep quiet.

Dahan dahan siyang pumasok sa kwarto at maingat na naglakad papunta sa kama. I have a bad feeling about this. She silently slipped on the bed and whispered something in his ears. Then i saw Raijin grabbed something on his left side and aimed it at the lady's forehead.

"My girl would want that after our wedding. Don't play games with me hormonal Harper. Now, move." he said as he opens his eyes and stared at the young lady. Now who is he talking about? Tsk. This idiot! I heard Harper's mocking laugh and she immediately stepped out of the bed and put her arms around my shoulder. Raijin's now looking at me with his infamous smirk while i glare at him. Then i felt Harper made me face her.

"Just look at me Perrie" she said, trying to imitate the man, before running away. I knew it! She was the girl who giggled on the phone. Now i regret asking her to be true to me. She isn't carefree. She's insane. Extremely insane.

I looked at the man who is now sitting on the bed, smiling at me widely. Umayos ako ng tayo at pumasok ng silid.

"You, get out of my room. Now!" his smile faded and dibelief was evident in his face. I wouldn't want this yummy sexy----. Holy Harper! Bad influence. I should have known better.

Iiling iling kong itinulak ang lalake palabas ng kwarto at daling isinara ang pinto. Ngunit bago ako makarating sa kama ay narinig ko ang mga tinig nila.

" Kawawang Kidlat! Hahahhahhahaha!"

Napangiti na lamang ako. I just hope that everything would be fine. I pray for that.
