Chapter 16 Unravelled Truth

Her POV

I stared at the fallen angel in front of me. His eyes were warm but his stares were cold. He is really the kid who creeps me out. He was aloof back then and until now, he gives me shivers.
"Let him out. He might get jealous of how my wifey stares at me" he said while smiling. Kinaladkad ng kanyang tauhan palabas ang kanyang bihag. I looked at him. His face was swollen and his eyes are weary and I can't help but continously call him a moron in my head. Idiot!

He must have been beaten to the edge by his brother. But what hurt me is the way he looked at me. It's like he is deeply hurt and no matter how much he tries to hide it, it will always get noticed. And in my heart, I can also feel his pain. 

Raijin you idiot!

What do I do now?

"Why are you saying that you're supposed to be my husband, Logan?" I asked the man in front of me. He then went back to his seat and sat like a king.

Yes he was the kid that I know but not for too long. Just a month after the accident, he never showed up in that neighborhood. We were not even family friends to know each other. We never had a close interaction except for the part when he saved me.

"Your parents didn't tell you?" Tanong niya sa akin. Kumunot lamang ang aking noo sa kanyang sinabi dahil hindi ko makuha ang nais niyang ipahiwatig. Ano ba ang kinalaman ng mga magulang ko rito?

"I see. Do you know where your parents get all the money and the properties that they have?"
Hindi ako sumagot sa tanong niya. 

Maging ako rin ay nagtataka kung saan kinukuha nina Amanda at Samuel ang kanilang ari arian. I never saw them work, but they always have meetings with numerous elites. And everytime that they were on a meeting, they would ask me to come and would introduce me to the businessmen. Then before the day ends, another property would be in their hands. At first i thought they were real estsate brokers but when I asked Amanda, she didn't say anything.

"They tend to blackmail those elites, Perrie. Your parents hold numerous informations that would destroy a company in a blink of an eye. And they used those informations to get money. They are too greedy for money." He said while giving me a cold stare. I can't believe to what he just said. But i can't argue with it for I know nothing about them. 

Moreover, i don't give a damn.

Kaelan's POV

The door opened and a man holding my brother entered. I never thought that I'd meet him here. He then tied him again on the chair and gave me a glare. Tss.

Yes, i am a member of those killers. And during the time when Alice and Perrie were abducted, it was just staged to make my brothers show up. Guess what? They did. He did show up and beat the hell out of the triplets. How unlucky of me not to meet him.

Flashback

"Aw! Ang sakeeeet! Huhuhu" narinig ko ang pagbukas ng pinto at ang pagrereklamo ni Kiosk. Nandito ako ngayon sa establisyemento kung saan nila dinala ang dalawang babae kagabi. This is our hide out. Tiningnan ko ang lalakeng puno ng pasa at halos mapuno ng band aid ang mukha. Sunod na pumasok ay ang kanyang kakambal na si Corvette na bali ang braso.

"F*ck your brother Kaelan! Look at what he did to us! You didn't tell me that he has something fishy for the heiress!" Gusto kong matawa sa itsura niya ngayon ngunit alam kong ikagagalit niya lamang ito.
