Her POV

Last night was a purge and it was the purge that the Council wished upon me. They were bunches of snakes who thought they could infect me with their venom, forgetting they have none. Didn't they know that I was a Viper? Small and ordinary snakes are just bitten to death by a venomous Viper. Fcking idiot council members.

It was a relief to get rid of them knowing how they participated in all these deaths before me. Who else would put the mafia in complete turmoil? It was totally an inside job. We have the best security features which means we are invincible. Fcking cowards and idiots.

They were trying to torment me. I have to keep my strong façade in order to derail them. But then, at the end of the day, I sit all alone in his room. Just like last night, I cry on my own. I talk to the moon, I talk to the stars. I talk to him. But no answer would come. I know there'll be none.

Move on?

Maybe I should try moving on. He will come back for he is alive. But right now, the situation's different. He will no longer come back. I have no one to wait for. I have to face reality. And reality slapped me real hard i want to fcking kill it. How shall I kill reality?

"Are you sure that this was from the sender's house?"

I remember the night when I was trying to chase my enemy. Instead, Sebastiano died.

"That was recovered during that night, Lord Third.

I glared at him. As much as I can, I try not to think about it.

"Forgive me, Lord Third."

Tiningnan ko ang litratong hawak hawak ko. Tatlong batang magkakaakbay.

"How fcking optimistic." I said in a mocking tone. Dalawang lalake, isang babae. Siblings.

Nakakainggit. Nakakainggit ang kanilang mga ngiti. It was a pure and innocent type of smile. It was one that I should be seeing months from now if only my child didn't leave me. If only my child was fcking alive.

Stop it, Curran.

"The little snake looked so innocent." I whispered, caressing the face of the young girl. She was sitting at the passenger's side of the van, talking to someone on her phone. She was there, supervising the death order for my Vanguard. She was there and I fcking saw her! Naikuyom ko ang aking kamao. Wait for me bitch. I'll surely make you pay.
