Chapter 9

NIKKO POV
As soon as Hinata and I got to our dorm room we got changed into our pajamas and started getting ready for bed.

"Nikko Chan sorry about Kiba he is just -

I didn't let her finish.

"It's alright Hinata, don't worry about it" I said reassuring her because to be all honest it didn't really bug me.

Then it went silent for a while...

"I made my oath when I was 10 years old" Hinata said bringing me out of my thoughts. That's younger than me when I made my oath.

I remained silent. Taking in what Hinata is telling me.

"You see my father was always a high respected man. He always pushed me to do my best. Sometimes too far though. And I never had the guts to just make him stop. Until one day I just ran out of the room. That's when I made my oath. I wanted to never feel small. I wanted to be able to speak up for what I want. To not just be bossed around. And it came true but my curse is what shocked me. Those to whom I push away and stand up to end up forgetting me and not remembering who I am. " she said while I just took that in. Then the next thing I knew I was talking to Hinata about my oath.

"I made my oath when I was 15. You see I fell deeply in love with this guy. He was sweet and kind. Always there for me when I needed him. We had fight because he was talking to some girl. I ended up giving him another chance. We were going to have two years but within the year and half he cheated on me. He said that he stilled loved me but that we couldn't be together. That's when I yelled him, regretting my decision of going out with. Giving him my trust and loyalty that he broke. Our promises and saying just simple words for him. I ended up making my oath, to never fall love again. But my curse is what killed me......I became immortal." I said while finishing my story.

Soon I felt myself cry. I promised myself that I would never cry over for that stupid asshole. That I have to be strong and move on...

Soon I felt two arms go around me and hugged me.

"Crying isn't vulnerability it just means you've been strong for far too long. And don't worry about our conversation we had tonight I promise not to tell anyone" said Hinata while getting into bed next me.

"Now then shall we sleep" she said smiling.

"Hai and Arigato Hinata Chan" I said while getting into bed next to her. And soon sleep had took both of us.
