Chapter 18 Their plan

Third Person

After eating breakfast Chara and Sans were sitting on the couch watching mettaton pose on TV when Chara spoke up, "Sans" she looked at him "yeah Chara?" He looked back at her here goes.. she thought to herself "I want to set everyone free.. I want to break the barrier, I want.. To go to the surface with you, with everyone, but I don't think I can do it alone.. will you help me Sans?" Sans looked in awe, from genocidal maniac to the girl he'd grown to love, and now she wanted to bring them all to the surface, tears rolled down his face and he hugged her. "Chara you don't know how happy it makes me to hear that, of course I'll help you, I'm sure Tori would too, even Pap-" Sans was interrupted by Papyrus opening the door and stepping through with none other than Undyne wearing full armor and spear at the ready, she pointed the spear at Chara as soon as she saw her, only to be thrown against the wall with blue magic. "SANS!" Papyrus yelled at his brother who was holding Undyne against the wall, "Undyne if you try to harm her I will turn you into fish fry." Sans said in a dark tone that made even Undyne gulp, but her attitude returned shortly after "what the hell are you talking about bonehead!? She's a human, the last of seven we need to break the barrier, I have to take her to the king! Besides all humans are evil!" Undyne reasoned with Sans,  Sans didn't release her, then Chara hugged Sans making him release Undyne and she walked over to Undyne and smiled at her "you still scare me a lot undyne.. But I broke my fight button so even if you wanted me to, I won't fight you!" She said timidly, Undyne looked shocked, so was Papyrus and Sans, Undyne grabbed her spear and walked out of the house calling for Papyrus to follow which he did waving goodbye to Chara and Sans as he jogged out of the house. Chara and Sans fixed the hole in the house made from when Sans held Undyne back and then collapsed on the couch with a sigh, Sans turned to Chara and said "So what's your plan Chara?" Chara smiled at Sans and said "let's go tell mom first, we can tell Papyrus and maybe Undyne later." Sans nodded and teleported them both to the ruins in front of Toriel's house and knocked on the door. Toriel opened the door and greeted them with a big smile "my child! Sans!  So good to see you both! Please come in come in, I just made a fresh pie!" She smiled at the both of them brightly, Chara and Sans were both nervous as they walked in wondering how to explain not only their plan but their feelings for each other to Toriel.  They sat down ate some pie and discussed their plan with Toriel.
