Chara frowned, she didn't wanna repeat that memory, but she knew she had to, she took a deep breath before speaking to calm herself "I fell down into the underground, and Asriel found me, he brought me to the castle, where Asgore and you took me in as your own daughter, a few weeks afterwards Asriel told me about how the humans had built the barrier to seal the monsters down underground and about the war long ago. I wanted to free the monsters all along and had come up with a plan, I ate the buttercup flowers that got Asgore sick, Asriel tried to stop me but I was determined to continue, I got very sick, eventually dying but told Asriel to take my soul after I died, and to carry me to my village after breaking the barrier, that was my mistake.. Asriel absorbed my soul and became very powerful, he broke the barrier and walked up towards my village, but the villagers.. When they saw me dead in his arms, they shot arrows at, and attacked him, I pleaded with him to defend himself, to fight back, but he refused, an arrow pierced his soul and he made it back to the underground and to the flower bed where you found him as his soul shattered I still remember his final words..

Mom.. Dad..? I can't.. Feel anything..

Then his soul shattered and my soul returned to my body, but I was already too weak, but my determination kept my soul from shattering, you buried me under that flower bed, our plan failed and I hated the humans for it, I'm sorry mom, it's all my fault that Asriel died.. " tears ran down her face and Toriel ran to her and hugged her shedding tears of her own "no my child, I understand, you are not at fault, Asgore and I we're stricken with so much grief when we lost you both that it tore us apart, but we love you both dearly, I am glad I finally know the truth."

Toriel smiled and hugged Chara tightly then stood up "how sickeningly touching" said a small voice from below them, Chara looked down and saw Flowey, he had a tear drop in his eye, she smiled at him and he frowned and escaped under the ground quickly, "What a strange little flower" Toriel said confused about the small yellow flower. Chara frowned then decided it was time Toriel knew, "Mom.. Asriel didn't completely die.. That flower is Asriel.. I don't know how but somehow he turned into that flower when his soul shattered, he has no soul or memory of any of us, but that teardrop proves that it is him." This news took Toriel aback, she clutched her chest tightly, Asriel? Alive? A flower? No memories, no soul.. How terrible.. She thought to herself, "I.. I see.. That's so terrible for him to have to live a life like that.. We can't do anything for him?"
