Chapter 90 Domino Effect

Sans

I looked at Frisk, the flowers that had grown on her were the same that had poisoned the king and his son so many years ago, I felt a presence and turned around, it was the same shadowy figure, but something was different, their shirt, it was no longer black, it had gained some color, a single yellow stripe traced along it, they were frowning but didn't move, they disappeared shortly after, I turned around only to be tackled to the ground, I looked up to see Chara brimming with tears in her eyes sitting on top of me, I smiled and wiped the tears from her eyes then pulled her in for a kiss

Third Person

Chara and Sans enjoyed their romantic reunion for a bit before coming to their senses and stood up quickly, Chara ran up to Frisk and tackled her in a hug giggling happy to see her sister back and well, Frisk hugged her back smiling but also frowning, knowing that the static had effected her even though it hadn't before.

Chara

We headed to Sans's house after a couple of minutes, I didn't tell Frisk, but when I saw those buttercups I had flashbacks of what happened in the past, the pain, the heartbreak, I was the cause of so much, but now I'm fighting to fix everything, so maybe if she finds out, she'll forgive me, like Sans has? Papyrus doesn't seem effected by the static, maybe Genocide doesn't have any effect on him because he's so pure? I wasn't sure but Papyrus would never harm anyone, though his other sides would definitely. While at his house I told Sans about what I'd figured out entirely now, since I didn't have much time in his dream.

Sans

"Genocide... But you said they're getting weaker, so what's keeping the static going? Nothing seems to be getting better, just remaining the same, which is good I guess, as long as Paps and you are safe I'm alright with it for now." Chara blushed when I said this, she's so cute when she blushes, but I could tell there was something she was thinking about, something she wasn't telling me, I pushed her hair back from her face gently and kissed her, looking into her eyes, the look in her eyes disappeared and a calm one returned as she closed them and kissed me back, when I pulled away she smiled at me and kissed my cheek, she went downstairs saying she was going to help Papyrus cook dinner, I could hear him loudly announcing his pride at having Chara help him with his cooking.

The look on my face chilled to the bone, no pun intended this time, as I felt that same chilling presence behind me, I turned around to be face to face with Genocide, she had a knife in her hand, she slashed at me, I didn't have time to react, but nothing happened, the knife had color, but it didn't hurt.
