Chapter 79 Chara?

Third Person

Sinking deeper into the black abyss Frisk was dragged down to the bottom, dust particles scattered as she hit the sand below her, the hands wrapped tightly around her before they loosened, the dark figure that looked like her got up and stood in front of her, Frisk got up, she looked them over closely, no light shown in the darkness of the black sea, she didn't understand why but she didn't have the urge to breathe nor did she feel like she was drowning, maybe she was already dead? Or was she dreaming? The figure stepped closer, Frisk could see glowing red amber eyes, a devil's smile that made her skin crawl, grey hair, a grey sweater with one stripe, grey skin, it was almost as if the figure wasn't alive. She looked even closer at the figure, that same gold locket was around their neck, Frisk wanted to reach for it again but the chance that she'd be attached again kept her still.

Several minutes passed as we stared at each other, the silence was eerie and didn't feel right, it was as though time had stopped between everything but themselves and I. Who are you? I asked, they didn't answer, but the creepy smile they had grew wider, they lifted the chain of the gold locket from their neck and threw it at me, I caught it, I swore I heard them laugh but they were as still as ever, I opened the locket, inside was a note and a picture.. A picture of Chara, Toriel, Asgore, and Asriel.. I lifted the note up and unfolded it, it read

     I AM GENOCIDE

I felt shivers down to my spine, this figure was genocide? I didn't understand, I thought genocide was a choice not a person.. I heard them laughing I looked up, they were holding a blood stained knife, the same one that Chara and I had held so many timelines ago in the fight against Sans.. Why do I have to see this again? What do you want from me?! I  screamed at them, they opened their mouth, but no words came out when their mouth moved, then I heard them in my head just as the knife hit me

                               DIE

Alphys?! I called out as I walked through the lab, I couldn't find them anywhere, maybe they were in the abandoned lab.. I took the elevator down, the static started, I shook my head, not again.. Please Alphys.. Be normal.. The elevator door opened, but outside of the door wasn't Alphys or any of the malformed monsters.. It was.. Me? But they had grey skin, that locket was definitely the same as mine though.. Their eyes were the same color as mine, every instinct in my body was telling me to run, so I did, right past them, I felt blood on my cheek and looked back, they had thrown a knife when I moved, behind them was a white lab coat and some dust, Alphys.. No..
