Chapter 83 Sans Returns

Sans

All I remember was seeing Chara off after defending her from Undyne.. Now I'm back here, in my bed, Papyrus is probably downstairs making Spaghetti and I probably won't see Chara again until Frisk does Genocide again.. I sighed not wanting that to be the only time I see her again, but the way I woke up was almost too familiar, did Chara die? Who reset? Why does my head hurt so much.. Trying to remember.. Ugh.. "SANS! COME DOWN FOR SOME OF THE GREAT PAPYRUS'S SPAGHETTI!" I chuckled, hopping out of my bed and teleported downstairs, Papyrus was there to greet me with a hug, he told me that he had to go train with Undyne I chuckled and wished him good luck, he nodded, "DON'T KEEP YOUR FRIEND WAITING SANS, THEY'RE IN THE KITCHEN" Friend? Who? I wondered who it would be so I walked into the kitchen.

Third Person

Sans stopped dead in his tracks, sitting across the table eating forkfuls of Spaghetti was a girl with beautiful amber eyes and a green sweater with a yellow stripe on it, she looked up and smiled at him, a hint of longing lingered in her eyes but was quickly replaced with determination, she motioned for Sans to sit, he didn't move though "Chara? You're here? How? Isn't it dangerous?" So many questions came from Sans' mouth, but Chara didn't answer any of them, she only smiled and ate the spaghetti "I'm sad that this isn't real, I'm contacting you through your dream Sans, I reset the world, Genocide can't harm you or me here, nor can they see us.. I've wanted to see you for awhile, the real you.. Not.. That monster, for what I did.. I'm sorry" Sans shook his head and grinned his classic grin "no Chara, you did what you had to.. I don't know what I would have done if I had ever hurt you.." Chara couldn't hold herself back any longer and ran into Sans's open arms, they hugged and kissed for what seemed to them like an eternity, they parted not wanting to and Sans looked at Chara "what do you mean Genocide can't see or hear us in my dreams?" Chara shook her head "not your dreams Sans, this dream.. Though it's more of a nightmare where everyone including Papyrus and you die.. By yours truly.. I've lived your nightmare over and over trying to find some way to talk to you, before it all begins.. So here I am, and I'm not gonna let this nightmare resume either, I reset, we're in the time between right now, I'm going to save you and everyone again Sans.. As for Genocide.. They are.. Me.. Apart of me.. I am the only one that can stop them but they're still so powerful.. But they will be weak enough in the next timeline we can finally finish this, we can be together, forever Sans, now it's time to wake up, I love you, see you soon." The dream froze, and shattered, Sans yelled after Chara but she was already gone, and his vision faded to black.
