Chapter 80 Clues

I turned back around and ran leaving the dust covered white lab coat behind and turned a corner, quickly sprinting away as I could hear my pursuer's footsteps a ways off behind me, their knife sounded like it was scraping against the wall, looking back only for a second I could definitely see light that resembled sparks from afar.. Why is someone like that here? Could it be because of the reset? No I didn't cause that reset.. Did they? None of this makes sense! Alphys you probably figured this all out didn't you..?

Third Person

As though answering her question Chara ran into something, a monster she'd never seen before, one of the malformed monsters, but they weren't malformed anymore, they had a sign around them that said follow me, Chara nodded and followed them but tried to hurry them up to no avail, they were a slow walker, the monster led her to a room with all kinds of screens paused at one scene or other, they all had times too, the first one was of Toriel, it was her back, what was so important about that? She couldn't see anything wrong so she skipped that screen the next was Sans, it was after he'd transformed, she couldn't see anything significant there either, and looking at that red eye gave her the creeps, the next screen and the next all gave nothing either, Undyne, the star eyed Sans, nothing!

Chara

I looked over to the monster and frowned, the monster flipped the sign around, "look closer" was written, Alphys! You did find something out after all? I took a look back at all the screens, then I noticed it! There was something there, it was small, almost unnoticeable, but a small grey spot was noticeably on different areas of everyone who was affected by the static in each screen! I turned to the monster, they had flipped the sign back to follow me again, I followed them into another room, I didn't see anyone following, where did they go? I wondered, though I was relieved I didn't see them anymore.

Third Person

The monster stopped in front of large screen and took out a tape from behind the sign and played it on the screen, the screen lit up bright, Alphys appeared on the screen, they looked very nervous and scared, they started to speak

If you're watching this... Then I've already been killed, I am Alphys, royal scientist of King Asgore, strange changes have been happening all over the underground most notably monsters turning into monstrous and dangerous forms, even towards their own kind! The cause of this is static it's hard to understand I know, but if you fight monsters they will die! You have to attack static or they will continue to attack you! I feel like I revealed a bit too much there, but if you still don't get it, then the entire explanation of it will be explained within the next ten chapters!
