Chapter 29 Bad Memory Flashes

Third Person

They were nearing the end of waterfall, still no sign of Monster Kid, everyone was worried especially Undyne, they were approaching the bridge when they heard someone yell from across it "Help! Somebody!" It was low but they all heard it, Undyne rushed across the bridge quickly followed by the others and found Monster Kid dangling at the middle of the bridge by his teeth, he was barely holding on, Undyne approached but he glared at her. "No! Go away! I don't need to be saved by the likes of you." Undyne stopped and frowned, "Monster Kid, that was your name right? Look, what I said, I'm sorry, I'd be glad to have you as a fan, and as a friend! So let me help you, alright? I mean it!" Monster Kid looked down for a moment then tears flooded his eyes and he nodded "okay, but hurry, I don't think I can hold on much longer!" He said as his grip on the bridge weakened and he started to sweat looking down. Undyne nodded and summonedand threw several spears at the rock underneath and landed on them jumped up and caught MK as he fell and landed on the middle of the bridge. Monster Kid hopped down and turned and smiled at Undyne then turned back and smiled at everyone else. Chara smiled back for a second then she saw Monster Kid with a slash across him, Undyne the Undying readying a spear, and then back to normal flashing in and out those same images, she felt uneasy because of it and she blacked out,  the last thing she heard was everyone yelling her name.

Darkness, the void? She didn't know, then a light, the ruins? The flower patch was in front of her, but no flowey instead was.. She gasped and ran up to the monster standing there "Asriel!" She shouted happily, he smiled at her and said "Hi Chara! It's me, your best friend. ASRIEL DREEMUR."

Darkness again, then she opened her eyes, everyone was standing over her worriedly, she stood up and frowned, Sans spoke up first, "you gave us all a scare Chara, are you alright?" He says looking at her with concern, she nods and smiles, "I just had a weird dream.." She says sadly. Toriel looked at her "what was the dream about, my child?" She said, something wasn't right and that dream was part of it, Chara didn't want to reply, she didn't want to mention him to Toriel, it would hurt her to hear his name again, but the look in Toriel's eyes told her she couldn't lie even if she wanted to, she took a deep breath counted to three and spoke, "my dream was about.. Asriel.." Toriel gasped touching her hand to her chest and frowning looking down a single tear drop fell from her eye and she looked away "I.. I see..." She paused for a moment then spoke up again looking at Chara seriously. "What happened to you and Asriel?"
