Chapter 12 Not A Date

Early morning I woke up and decided to make a trip to grillby's to clear my head and plan out the day since Chara and I were going out for the day it's not a date I thought to myself. Arriving at Grillby's I walked in and sat at my usual spot, hey Grillbz, just ketchup today. Grillby nodded and walked to the back coming back with a bottle of ketchup and slid it towards me, I caught the bottle and just stared at it for a bit then my memory flashed back to a genocide timeline. Chara's contorted face as she slashed and killed every monster in the underground even Papyrus then me, as I turned to dust I remembered that smile she showed me, then I was snapped back into reality. "Sans!" Grillby shouted concerned for me from across the counter. I looked up then realized I'd not even taken a sip of the ketchup,  I sighed and said Sorry Grillbz, didn't mean to worry ya, guess I just got lost in thought. I slid the bottle back over to Grillby and left, as I walked back home I continued to receive the same flashbacks always ending with her smile at the end, then I thought to myself heh, today's sure starting out interesting. I walked through the door and into the kitchen to eat something and noticed Chara was in the dining room setting the table.

I had woken up a little after Sans had left I wondered what I should wear to the resort with Sans and went to the store and purchased a black and red dress, when I looked at it I thought to myself it's not a date, I just want to look nice..
Snapping out of my thoughts I went back downstairs thankful to see Sans hadn't yet returned and decided to make breakfast. The smell of chocolate chip pancakes, hash browns, and scrambled eggs filled the house as I was setting the table when Sans walked in and saw me, I blushed a tinge of red and looked away. There was a short moment of silence then Sans spoke up "you made all this for us?" He asked I turned and my face was now completely red y-yeah I wanted to thank you and Papyrus for letting me stay and you for helping me..  I muttered the last part, Sans didn't hear the last part but smiled a tinge of blue on his face and sat down "heh, well uh, thanks Chara for this, you didn't have t-" Sans was interrupted by the loud footsteps of Papyrus coming down the stairs "SANS, WHAT IS THAT SMELL COMING FROM THE KITCHEN?" Papyrus stopped at the stairs seeing all the food that Chara had prepared for them and smiled brightly "WOWIE HUMAN! YOU ARE ALMOST AS GREAT A CHEF AS THE GREAT PAPYRUS! THIS LOOKS AND SMELLS DELICIOUS! NYEH HEH HEH!" Chara giggled and sat down with them to eat.

I might release another chapter soon
But i have company coming so I don't know if i'll be up for it tonight even though I really want to lol!
