Chapter 73 Nightmares - Chara

Third Person

Chara woke up and looked to the side of her, Frisk was sleeping soundly, a noise from outside had woken Chara up, the cool breeze flowing caused her to shiver, cool breeze? She thought to herself, she stood up and walked to the front of Grillby's, the door was wide open, footprints could be seen in the snow leading out into the night, an echo of laughter could be heard, Chara frowned "Sans..." Chara stepped out into the snow and followed the prints, around every corner she swore she could see eyes watching her, she was cautiously keeping an eye out for a red eye, she didn't want to run into that Sans, not if she could help it.

Chara

I continued following the footsteps, they led out of Snowdin and towards the ruins, the door was wide open, I looked down, the footprints went into the ruins, I stepped through the hallway keeping my focus ahead of me, I didn't wanna see mom's ashes... I made it to the first room and I heard the static, the room changed, all the traps were backwards, I got scratched on the arm by one of the spikes just as I was clearing it, blood dripped from my arm but I ignored it, I needed to find Sans.. Continuing through each room I didn't hear the static anymore, I made it to the room where Flowey would be, no one was there, I continued to where the buttercups were, and there was Sans, I ran up and hugged him "Sans!"

Third Person

Sans didn't reply, he just shook as though he was crying, then he spoke, "I'm so sorry Chara.." The static was heard and Chara's eyes went wide as the back she was clinging to just before grew and a crack in Sans's skull appeared, she backed up a few feet and he turned around, staring at her with the blood red eye, he raised his hand from behind his back and a chill ran up her spine.

She backed up even further, she turned and ran out of the room, she heard a thud against the wall that she'd just ran past, Sans's axe stuck into it, she continued to run as fast as she could, through all the rooms, all the while she could hear Sans's axe dragging along the ground as he followed her, her breathing grew panicked, no matter how fast she ran she could still see him gaining on her from behind, she ran out of the ruins and slammed the ruin doors behind her hoping it would buy her time.

Chara

Sans was right behind me, I heard the doors to the ruins burst open as I ran into the woods, Sans wasn't walking anymore he was running, the next thing I heard was air passing by me, I felt pain from my cheek, then I felt the blood drip and saw his axe embedded in the tree in front of me, I tripped on a branch and fell, I turned over as Sans jumped over me, he snatched his axe from the tree and held it above me, my breathing grew frantic, I told Sans to fight it, I closed my eyes hoping I could convince him, then everything went black.

I'm so sorry for the late upload! I was brain dead mostly all day yesterday don't know why lol
