Chapter 32 What happened to Chara

Third Person

Sans couldn't believe it, they were so close, Frisk had woken up before they could successfully return Chara to her normal body, he frowned and looked at Frisk "where's Chara, Frisk? When you woke up, we were about to return Chara to her normal body, why did you break the capsule? Now we have to wait longer before Chara can return to how she was before." Frisk stared at him confused for a bit "why would you want to give them, that demon, their body back?!" She demanded to know, Sans frowned "she's not a demon, not anymore Frisk, Chara wants to save us, all of us, she wants to go to the surface, she wants to be with me, and everyone, so will you please, help us bring her back?" Frisk frowned "to be with you?  What does that mean, Sans?" She asked, "it means that I love her, and we had been dating, while you were unconscious." Frisk froze then looked down for a moment, she looked up and she looked furious "in MY body!?  Sans how could you!?" She fumed, her cheeks were bright red. Sans' face was dark blue "uh.. Kiddo, sorry about that, when you're in love... I guess, I forgot that it wasn't her body for awhile.. Sorry." Frisk stopped fuming, and nodded, "alright, fine.. But don't tell me what happened, I don't want to know.. So.. She's really not evil anymore?" She asked still not fully believing Sans when she is pulled into her self consciousness and is face to face with Chara.

"Frisk, I'm sorry, so so sorry for using your body like that, um.. I know you might want to hit both me and Sans, and I understand, but could you please help them get me back into the machine, something's wrong, I don't feel so attached to you anymore and I think I'm fading away.. " Frisk nodded and she was back in front of Sans who was looking at her with nervous anticipation, "Sans, we need to get that machine fixed,  and soon,  I think my body is rejecting Chara and she can't sustain herself much longer.." Sans looked shocked and super worried he ushered Frisk out into a waiting room where he told her to sit and wait till Alphys or himself called her back inside.

She twiddled her fingers and waited then blinked and was back within her self conscious, and waved to Chara, then frowned, she was fading, and looked very weak, at any other time she would have been happy to be rid of Chara, but now.. Now she was trying to be good, and she was suffering for it.

"Sans and Alphys are working hard Chara just a little bit longer and we should be able to save you, please, hold on!" She was snapped back into the waiting room where Sans rushed through and grabbed her hand and rushed her back to the machine set her on the table and pressed a button, a bright light flashed and all was white and...
